Like the title!LawrenceIdea, when printing directions. Print only for the item you bought. The directions for this item had another way to put it together and still would work. I bought 2 cabinets and the 1st was wrong. So I had to go back and redue it to match the way it was supposed to be done.Luckily I did not glue the pieces together. (Items were the top and bottom of the cabinet). 2. Why 2 different screw lock's? 1 plastic the other metal. Why not both metal? Cabinet is great except for those 2 items. Down the road I will be buying 2 more for my wife’s workshop desk. She is a Stampin-Up demonstrator.
not really designed for standard American paper / folder sizesRichardNOT designed for standard American paper / folder sizes. The bottom drawer, which is supposed to be for folders/files is to small to fit a standard size 8 1/2 X 11 folders, so you have to use an adaptor that creates a 4inch gap of wasted space.
My Favorite Drawers!SarahI have been wanting the ALEX drawers for awhile now!! The visit to IKEA that I bought these they were on sale so it was meant to be and finally time to buy them. Assembly was smooth, the hubby helped me/pretty much did most of it. I love the Gray-turquoise color and the drawer capacity. I'm still surprised what all I can fit into the drawers and still have room in several of them. Will definitely recommend this product!
Alex drawersGlendaLove these drawers. My friends and I use them in our sewing rooms. However, you can not see or get to what is in the back of drawer without taking out everything in the front. We store fat quarters (fabric) and the drawers are the perfect fit for our embroidery threads. But again seeing and getting to the items in the back is hard. Any suggestions?
ALEX is great product.RamonaALEX is great product, except whatever material it is that they use on the outside is not the same as it used to be. I do prefer what they used to use. It was slicker and just nicer feeling and shinier. Drawers glide easily and we have never encountered a missing piece of hardware.

Sleek Drawers perfect for our IKEA DeskSydneyWe used two sets of these drawers and an IKEA countertop to make a sleek/modern computer work desk at our home. Our daughter’s crafts took over one set and the other is all office supplies. They work perfect but the desk drawers are a little harder to open than anticipated. They will probably loosen up over time with use

Minor DamageDestinyFirst, I would like to say Click and Collect was quick and smooth. My order was ready a lot sooner than I expected. The color is to my liking which is good. However, I did notice minor damage to the bottom piece of the drawer which does not bother me too much. Other than that, I will enjoy assembling this drawer :D

Alex SherryTook a couple hours to put together. It’s cute but not worth $100. You don’t even get wheels with it for that price. The only reason I got it was because my niece wanted it for Christmas. I saw one half the price at Home Depot but the drawers were a little different.
Nice cabinet!ShirleyAlex cabinet provides plenty of storage. I used it under the desk top and find it very useful, good-looking, and functional. Assembled with no problem.
Drawers dont stayDiamarisI assembled everything according to the instructions but the drawers really don't stay on the metal piece that holds them. I'll pull a drawer out and the metal piece won't come out with it, it'll just drag behind. Also i live in NYC and don't have a car so it's virtually impossible to carry a 40 pound item on the train and back to the Brooklyn Ikea to return.
Great desk with storageTracyI bought two Alex drawer units and a LAGKAPTEN desk top. They look really nice and offer a ton of storage. Each Alex unit is pretty heavy when assembled. Pretty easy to assemble although the attachment for the desktop could be better.
Solid, drawers need work.JenniferBought this for my office. Overall solid unit. The reason I gave this a four star is because the drawers do not come out all the way. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the drawer.

We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
