nanofoamer

Cafe-quality microfoamed milk is now possible at home! Make your own barista-style cappuccino every day.

Craving barista-style cappuccinos at home? Create café-quality microfoamed milk in seconds with the NanoFoamer. This clever device is more than a milk frother, in fact it doesn’t froth at all, but instead creates a superfine microfoam. The bubbles in this foam are so small that they become invisible, giving the milk velvety texture that blends perfectly with the espresso and crema.

HOW TO USE YOUR NANOFOAMER

nanofoam

CHOOSE

Select a NanoScreen to suit your preferred microfoam type: Superfine, fine, or ordinary foam.

nanofoam coffee

CHURN

Churn your warm milk (55°C is ideal) for about 30 seconds. Start in the middle to incorporate air, then move to the side to continue churning and blending the foam.

nanofoam coffee

POUR

Pour your perfectly microfoamed milk over espresso. It should feel like pouring paint. Draw a heart, rosetta or something abstract!

YOUR FOAM YOUR CHOICE

Changing the NanoScreens and adjusting how long you churn the milk adjusts the amount and density of microfoam you make.

microfoam

IS MICROFOAMED MILK REALLY THAT GOOD?

Yes! Microfoamed milk has bubbles so small, they become invisible. The milk transforms into a liquid velvet texture. It blends perfectly with the espresso and crema, adding perceived sweetness to the cappuccino or cafe latte.

Microfoam also makes better-looking drinks and is a pleasure to pour. Latte Art requires some practice, but the challenge exciting and the result rewarding.

Compare this with dry foam, which is made with standard milk frothers by merely whisking the milk. The result is runny milk, followed by a blob of stiff froth. This rigid frothy substance never mixes with the espresso, and the flavors stay separated and conflicting.

Great value if you don’t want to buy an espresso machine with stick steamer

Great value if you don’t want to buy an espresso machine with stick steamer
I wanted to make latte art without buying an espresso machine since I already have a Nespresso machine that uses capsules. I heat the milk in the microwave until 140degrees and then pour into a latte art jug and use the stick. I use Costco A2 whole milk. It works best with matcha lattes or pour over coffee because the nespresso machine creates a lot of foam that hinders the latte art for me but I’m just learning, not a barista or anything.my feeling is that the espresso machine could be better or a different brand of whole milk with more fat content could be the difference. But the nanofoamer is probably better than the other sticks out there. You should use a rechargeable battery because you’ll have to switch batteries quite often. Also use the nanofoamer instructions: 5-8 seconds in the middle to create foam and then 20-30 seconds submerged to blend the large bubbles into the milk

I'm ashamed that this cheap-feeling little wand produced better milk texture than I have been myself on my Profitec 700 machine which has a wand pretty close to a commercial steam wand. Admittedly I'm a bit lazy and don't focus on getting milk texture perfect every time, but still, this rotating frothed just bested me (I used to be a pro barista).

Have to say the texture this little device creates is absolutely perfect for cappuccinos, flat whites and lattes, and for latte art. As good as any drink I've had in a top tier cafe. I just followed the instructions and it was actually perfect....I was shocked. I used my machine's steam wand to just heat the milk after I frothed it (never try to add air to warm milk, always cold. Always always) and the end result was as good as anyone could hope for. I'm still kind of in shock.

You might be able to get there by heating the milk on the stove or in a microwave (not with a metal pitcher) after frothing but the key is to keep the milk moving as much as you can to keep the texture integrated. In that case, swirl it a bit after heating.

I can't wait to take this camping with my picopresso. Between this foamer and the picopresso I have like a <$300 espresso setup that's as good as my $2800 Profitec....

I don't know if mine was defective but seeing now this is new and not mass produced the quality should have been better. I have never received a product this terrible before. Subminimal you failed so damn hard.

I was so happy when this item arrived and couldn't wait to use it. After washing and putting in the battery my mind was blown as to how bad the product was. This item literally has two functions only:

    1. Button can be pressed
    2. Motor runs after button is pressed.

That's all! How the hell did you guys mess up?? I'll be terrified if you guys came out with a food chopper. yikes

    Issues:
    1. Product stated that it's waterproof. After washing I opened the battery compartment and saw a bit of water inside.

    2. Pressing the button to turn on was so hard that I couldn't hold it longer than 2 seconds. Most of the time if you don't press it hard enough and in the correct spot it won't spin. I was pressing so hard my thumb was turning white from it. I tried holding it in every way possible even using two hands to press the button but still no go. This is the worst invention I have ever seen. It looked great in videos but wow it's so crappy. Maybe those people on youtube got a good copy since it was sent from the company themselves to promote so it only makes sense it's good.

Also please note that the button needs to be constantly held down or it won't work. For those who's thinking that I must be so weak to not be able to function this. Maybe, but I didn't pay all this money to suffer. My 10 dollar milk frother from china was easier to use and that's just sad. I got this hoping to learn latte art since I don't have a steamer but was sadly disappointed. I'm so glad I had decided to buy on amazon and not their website or else I'll be wasting money sending the item back ugh

    Side notes:
    1. Part of the body is made of cheap plastic. Like 99 cent store cheap. I would expect this from other cheap china companies but not when the item cost 40 bucks.
    2. It does look neat just too bad it was all looks and no substance.

VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! This thing actually works! I used it for the first time this morning, and it produced real micro foam just like the kind a good barista with an expensive machine makes ("fresh paint" texture). I've tried multiple regular wire frothers (which get close), and a bodum milk frother (messy, too much milk, and takes over 100 plunges to get workable foam). NOTHING produced a decent microfoam until I tried this nanofoamer. It produced proper foam on the first try! Just follow the clear, well thought-out instructional videos that come with the unit. It's not complicated, there are really just 2 steps: introduce air into the milk, then smash all the large bubbles into micro bubbles. Both steps are accomplished by simply moving the wand from first position to a slightly different position and spinning the milk for about 30 seconds total. Easy to learn. Heck, I got it right the first try.
Bottom line: if you want high quality microfoam at home, then this will produce what you want. A good wire frother costs $10-15, the bodum costs $25(?), and this was $40. For me it was a game changer, so compared to the other options this is totally worth it. Thanks to the nanofoamer people for inventing this!

Managed to get decent foamed milk for a few months but after a while the plastic ring broke in multiple places. I hand washed it after each use so the broken plastic was simply caused by occasional regular use. Wouldn't recommend it.
