We’ve long been fans of the Gulf of Oman—with its raw, desert landscape sloping into endless blue. Surreal, really. Positioned away from the winds, Khorfakkan draws scuba-divers, sunseekers and beachlovers with its golden sandy shores and corals. Our hillside resort, tucked away between Khorfakkan Beach and Luluya Beach, offers plenty of vantage points from which you can gaze at the Oman blue. Access to the private beach means entire days soaking up the sun, jet-skiing, kayaking and parasailing on the water or diving below the surface to glimpse the thriving marine life. Sunset hour in Khorfakkan is something else… You may want to catch it while sailing on a traditional dhow.

The boutique-style resort redefines modern beachside living while integrating local traditions and materials. Tucked away on the hillside, it offers plenty of vantage points from which you can gaze at the deep blue-green Gulf of Oman, the surrounding dramatic jagged mountains and the golden beaches. There are 45 thoughtfully-designed rooms and suites: one bedrooms for solo travellers and couples, 3-bedroom suites for a tribe of travellers, and even a royal suite complete with a pool and butler service.

In the kitchens, our passionate chefs are busy conceptualising menus that celebrate high-quality local ingredients; menus that explore Sharjah’s rich cultural heritage. We believe that the most flavourful food is made simply with the highest quality, fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. Up on the mountain overlooking the Gulf of Oman, guests can sample the ocean’s bounty but also raw, vegan and vegetarian dishes from our Keen on Green menu.
