Amazing hotel with top notch staff. The restaurant is not your average hotel restaurant - food is fresh and delicious, service was outstanding. We would absolutely choose Hotel Marcel again!

Hmmm. New Haven is a dumpster fire! If it was not for the university, it would probably disappear. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The food is ok, full of consultants, so weird.

The property is a 3 star at best property trying to be a 5 star. The restaurant is horrible only open minimal hours and the bar doesn’t open until 4pm and has a very small selection of liquors. The staff is nice and friendly but very poorly trained. Don’t be fooled by the nice bio write they have on here it’s not what you would expect it to be. The water view is a view of an industrial barge harbor with big fuel tanks.
