AJ Wall Light, 1960
AJ Wall light designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen.
Designed in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu), and contributed to the total design concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel items have achieved design icon status today, and among the lighting products the AJ lamps, in particular, have become world-renowned.
The fixture emits downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.

Materials
Shade: Spun steel. base: Die-cast zinc. stem: Steel.
The black, dusty blue, stainless steel, petroleum and warm grey finishes have a black cord. The white, warm sand, soft lemon and electric orange finishes have a white cord.
Bulb: 1x 20W E14 bulb (not included).
