MODA DOMUS X ROYAL DELFT'S TULIPMANIA
In an unprecedented first for Moda, we’ve teamed up with Royal Delft, the last remaining manufacturer of authentic Delftware—that is, the blue and white Dutch earthenware that’s become synonymous with Delft itself, the city where it’s made. The magnificent vases and flatware are re-editions from Royal Delft’s archive and handcrafted by their master artisans, who use age-old techniques and require eight years of training. Chief among them? The pyramid-like Tulipiere vase, which was originally made in 17th-century Holland to display tulips stem by stem—a flower whose value rose to exorbitant heights during that time. Find more tulips (rendered vibrantly and realistically) across Moda Domus’ new collection of plates, plus matching hand-embroidered linens by Morocco’s Atelier Houria Tazi.
