For YEARS been looking for a good tinted moisturizer that won’t make my face peel and the I can wear daily- without having to exfoliate,, & this is pretty good! Great for sensitive skin and mature skin. Goes on easy, long-lasting, and I don’t have to keep checking the mirror for the little dead skin balls! BUT I do lightly exfoliate prior to application.

It is not drying; however, not as moisturizing as your favorite moisturizer. My face is extremely dry so I put on my moisturizer and then the EltaMD on top and that works well, especially if you have extra dry skin. It is nice to feel like your skin is being protected against sun damage. I like both the clear cream and the tinted.

I'm pretty sure this product doesn't need another review to sell it! However, I am so impressed with this facial sunscreen I wanted to leave a review. First off its a mineral based formula with great SPF for the sensitive skin on the face. As a mature woman in my 60s this product goes on so smoothly. It absorbs immediately into my skin especially around the delicate eye area and helps smooth out wrinkles without irritation. I love the skin colored tint, that does not leave a white chalky cast. Dermatology made and tested, it is a high quality product and well worth the price.

I don’t know why zinc is important but my dermatologist said to get a sunscreen with zinc. She recommended elta.

I tried elta and CeraVe. Unfortunately the CeraVe didn’t have zinc. 🤷🏼‍♀️

With the elta, the orange tint was too weird on my skin. I’m a redhead with fair skin so the tint looked odd. Strangely is gave less coverage than the tinted CeraVe’ brand, but showed up more. The CeraVe tint wasn’t bad and actually gave a little coverage. I liked that.

The elta went on easier. Smooth, like butter. The CeraVe had a little more pull on the skin because it was thicker. That was the only negative, and that it didn’t have zinc. The price for CeraVe was MUCH cheaper.
