The Cheeky Cocktails cranberry syrup is an excellent syrup for mixing into drinks. It does have that 100% cranberry syrup base not made from concentrates as is usually found in retail stores. I had ordered the Cheeky Cocktails for review back in November knowing that the holidays would soon be here, and saved these for that occasion! I'm sure glad I did!! Of course cranberries are an entirely different fruit than pomegranates, but the Cheeky Cocktails somehow remind me of a grenadine type mixer.
On Christmas Eve I opened up one of the syrups and we used it to add a bit of cranberry punch to some of the sparkling beverages we often enjoy. Mixed with sparkling apple, the Cheeky Cocktails really added some missing flavor to the drink, and it's pretty awesome that it doesn't take a whole lot of Cheeky Cocktails to make a difference. We don't often imbibe in alcoholic beverages, so I can't rate for that alcohol mix personally, but with New Year's Eve just a few days away, I may have some friends or family that will be only happy to test them out!
Another possible use I'm thinking of for the Cheeky Cocktails syrup is to make a batch of cranberry jelly with. There is a certain dilution process I use in making homemade jellies, so it will take a little bit of experimentation to get the dilution and flavors just right. Finding any type of "pure" syrups anymore has become more difficult if not more expensive when you do find them. The Cheeky Cocktails syrup turned out to be perfect for making a small batch of jelly!
Overall I think that the Cheeky Cocktails is a great product that came in great product packaging. With what I deem a fair price point, I will likely be willing to purchase a few more of the flavors they offer, including the reorder of more cranberry syrup. It's that good. I would recommend the Cheeky Cocktails to anyone who enjoys perking up their beverage be it alcohol based or not. It's a great flavor option for the beverage connoisseur.
