The Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream knows what's up. If you consider how many different brands of body cream there are in the world, it's easy to imagine how hard it must be to make a splash and stand-out among the rest. But, after a bit of digging, we discovered that the silky lotion has managed to capture the attention of not one, but three A-listers, which is pretty damn impressive. So, we reckon it's worth a spot on everyone's radar.

Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez and Hilary Duff have all publicly fan-girled the body moisturiser in the past, praising it for the smell, the packaging and how good it makes their skin feel.

On a shopping trip round Sephora with Refinery29, Hailey headed straight toward the little yellow pot and gushed "I love this packaging, and it smells amazing. It’s like I’m on the beach. Plus, I’m obsessed with anything that has coconut oil".

Meanwhile, Selena recently told British Vogue that it's the cream she turns to whenever she needs some extra TLC, revealing she likes to use a regular lotion on her body, “but I don’t usually use a lot of it because it makes me feel sticky. However, I just got back from a trip and my skin is peeling, so I’m using Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream.”

And Hilary let slip that she likes to slather herself in the whole range for a little slice of escapism in an interview with the New York Times. “There’s this line I’m obsessed with at Sephora called Bum Bum Cream. It smells so good! And now they have a lip balm, and I can’t stop. My son smelled it the other day, and he goes, ‘Mom that smells like Hawaii.’ I was like, ‘I know, let’s go,’” she said.

So what's the secret to its success? The sunny round pot makes a cheery first impression. The cheeky name alone deserves attention. Despite being called Bum Bum Cream (pronounced the Brazilian way, “boom boom"), and being created with derriere's in mind, it can be used all over the body. It hails from the home of teeny-weeny bikinis and beautiful booty's so it makes sense that Brazil's favourite formula soothes and smoothes like a pro.
