    The HyperX QuadCast 2 refines everything that made the original such a favorite amongst gamers, streamers, and content creators around the world. All the fan-favorite features are still here: the iconic stunning lighting, the tap-to-mute sensor, 4 selectable polar patterns, 3.5mm headphone jack and included shock mount and desktop stand but now with a range of innovative additions and packaged in a new sleek, full aluminum silhouette. QuadCast 2 features upgraded 24-bit, 96kHz recording for a studio quality recording experience. It also features a redesigned detachable shock mount with improved performance and innovative spring-loaded pins, making removal easy and allowing the use of universal shock mounts. In response to our fan’s feedback, QuadCast 2 now includes a multi-function knob so you can do everything on-board without needing to alt-tab. The knob allows users to choose between microphone gain, playback volume, microphone monitoring volume, and can also switch polar patterns. The LED indicator also makes it easy to determine the current mic status without the hassle of going into the software. Users can choose different lighting effects and tune their mic via HyperX NGENUITY. The HyperX QuadCast 2 – the new standard for streaming microphones.

      Took a minor gamble at time of purchase with there being no reviews at the time of purchase that I could find and it was definitely worth the upgrade from my 4-5 year old hyperx quadcast mic, sound quality great and is the mic volume is so much louder comparingly and actually has software support(and color effects if you love different effects of the color red). I love the polar pattern lighting feature and the mic volume nob is no longer at the bottom which I would always bump and change annoyingly so that's a plus, the polar pattern also got moved into settings instead of being a physical nob but you can hold down the volume button to change it though you have to hold the button down for quite a while. Has a high pass filter in the options if that is something you need, not much else for options at the moment.

      No real complaints here aside from no rgb option yet, but definitely a worth it mic and would recommend to friends over the other hyperx choices in my opinion. I'll come back later and update this review after spending more time with it.

      Hi, this is a great mic! My only complaint is as a musician it’s tricky to make it work with my sound setup. An xlr cable input rather than the usb-c which wouldn’t need the volume feature would be a huge game changer and it would be really cool to use on stream when I play music!

      The sound is crisp and clear, with the knob adjustment being easy to use. You can adjust the mic to your liking and even take it out of the stand and use a separate overhead arm to attach it for easier access.
