    Poor though the fit may be, it is usable.As long as I keep the tablet clamp apparatus / cradle in a reclined state, my SPX doesn't seem to want to try to tip itself forward and faceplant itself onto my MX Keys- making such an acrobatic feat an expensive one.I've tried bumping and shaking the Tablet Pro to see if my SPX will try to faceplant itself, but it stays put.Lucky for me, I prefer the cradle reclined anyway, so I'm keeping this stand.If you have an SPX, this thing is worth ordering from Amazon, if only due to the free return shipping if you don't like it.EDIT:I tried using the SPX on the stand with it oriented in PORTRAIT ORIENTATION, albeit in its lowest height setting.It worked pretty well and was pretty stable.I suppose this news isn't revelatory to most readers, but if you have a SPX, this might be useful.

      This stand is very stable, sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and well made. The angle of viewing for the stand is easy to adjust and is rock solid at whatever angle you choose. I use an iPad Pro. My only complaint is that this stand cannot be used with an iPad cover on it. I had to remove the cover in order to fit it into this stand. I wish that this stand gave just a little more room to allow it to be used with a cover to give my iPad Pro some protection. If you don’t mind this flaw, then you will probably really like this stand.

      I have an identical stand for my laptop, which I have had for years. This one is identical only smaller. Excellent quality - very practical. The only thing that would help is if the height was adjustable to be able to reach eye level as needed (for proper head/neck positioning), when viewing something of longer length.

      I've tried various stands for my 12.9" iPad. I use it in portrait mode, and this is the first stand that does it all.
      Firstly, it's stable. A 12.9" iPad in portrait mode needs a stable and heavy-enough base. This one does it. In addition, with the locking mechanism on the top of the screen, it keeps the iPad safe. You can pick up the stand and walk with it and the iPad will not fall off.
      Secondly, it can be adjusted to any reasonable height and angle, so that you can make it just right for you. All my previous stands were too low, and the angles of adjustment are either fixed or non-existent.
      Finally, it's a quality product, well-built, and will last way longer than the iPad.
      Five stars and a thumbs up as well!
