    Soft screen, excellent battery life
I wanted to love this phone, it had ticked all the boxes until the screen got scratched by regular use, you know, just taking it in and out of my pocket. Turns out the screen is too soft and it requires a screen protector to not damage it.

If you don't want to sink $500+ for the Pixel 6 series, this phone is great! For privacy and security folks, GrapheneOS works like a charm on this phone. No issues.

Battery life is great, apps are snappy and responsive, camera is good. Also, most importantly, still has a headphone jack.

cannot turn off the photo and screenshot sound( turnes out that phones made in japan have this in hard part, and it is impossible to change).

It's honestly such a step up from what I'm used to, bottom of the barrel, hardly able to use it without going unresponsive. But I decided to really splash out on a phone that I know that will last a while longer and enjoy using it.
It's got a headphone jack! Something I didn't even know modern phones come with, happy it does.
128 gigs of storage and Google cloud, it's practically unlimited!
It's snappy, and has enough ram to comfortably game and have a thing or two in the background.
Battery life isn't the best, but it lasts almost throughout the day, and if you can't, a 20 minute quick charge will definitely help.

Solid phone, solid build quality, wish it had a better battery.

I purchased this phone in 2022 and it died yesterday.
      The good:
This phone worked throughout the years in terms of 5G, wifi, LTE, calling, texting, browsing the web, watching videos, having literally 100s of tabs on google chrome. Overall pretty good experience with the phone.

Weird behavior(accounts for like 10% of phone experience overall):
sometimes the phone would lag and be unresponsive/freeze for a few moments like it was loading or doing something in the background. i think it was downloading updates or something im not sure. it would do bursts of unresponsive around once a week on average.
one time close to before it died on me the calling stopped working i only found out because someone told me they called me and it didnt work. i fixed it by restarting the phone (maybe left it on too long? it was on for a week max?)

      When it died:
so one day i went to sleep and when i woke up the phone screen did not turn on. the phone itself works(it vibrates when i press buttons) but the screen is just completely black. i had read later that the pixel 5a has a known motherboard issue so yea it might of died because of that. the phone was under me when i woke up so maybe i rolled on it, but there were no new scratches or cracks so im not so sure.

      stray ending thoughts:
im thinking of buying a samsung s23 ive read it is reliable and pretty good as well.
this phone costed me ~$500 and lasted 3 years, thats ~$166 per year, maybe good?

      Summary:
this is a good phone but it might randomly die on you because of a known motherboard issue.

After 3 years with the LG flagship LG G6+, that cost me a lot of money and was stuck on the Android 8 version (because of US Cellular), I decided to try a high mid-range phone. After reading some reviews, I decided to abandon LG and go to Google Pixel 5A.

And what I can tell you is that I am more than happy with this phone.
1st of all the fingerprint reader works way better than the LG G6+ ( this one stopped working after a few days).
Regarding autonomy, it's been a while since I found myself in a situation where I no longer had to worry about recharging my phone for a whole day.

And finally, for the price, the performance and general experience far exceed that of the LG G6.

Verdict, no need to buy a flagship to have a very good phone

I have been using this phone for the past few days and the battery backup is good. I got the Android 12 update as soon as I started the phone. There are tons of features and customisation which is helpful for the day to day activities. I played bgmi and the max graphics is the same as redmi note 10pro max. The display is top notch and the refresh rate being 60hz didn't bother at all and it felt like a 90hz refresh rate.. Finally the camera on this phone is so good. The vedio stabilisation is top notch. The only downside is that it heats up a bit when shooting 4k60 and the camera stops working saying the device is too hot.. The duration changes depending the on the previous usage and climate environment etc. Overall i am satisfied with phone. The box also had a flatpin charger 18w which takes around1. 45-2 hrs for charging from 0-100

After 3 months of use, very happy with my purchase of pixel 5a. Size is perfect, fits in one hand nicely for holding and typing. Processing speed is fast enough and battery life is great -lasts for >1 day on moderate use. Camera colours are good, outperformed a friend’s iPhone 13 for a sunset shot. Really like the dark green backing too.
Delivery by seller was swift- received within a week. Authentic item.
