I got these on sale for $18 and what a great buy! I wish bought more at that price. They're light compared to my K&M mic stand ($100+) but that's not the worst thing in the world if you have to carry several of these for load in/load out. I had no problem with the mic stands holding various mics at different weights and they did not topple over. However, you could easily add a counterweight if you needed to. They're quick and easy to set up and collapse. They extend up to 7 ft. I also really like the knobs for adjustment instead of the bars you see on some stands. Highly recommend these.

When I fully assembled this, it was WAY taller than I thought. A little bit wobbly at the bottom at first, but still a must-get microphone stand!
