The Ultimate Backup Solution for Mobile Devices
What a great and convenient little device the Crucial X6 SE 2TB turned out to be! I was able to seamlessly integrate it with my old Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, format the drive, and run a full backup using Smart Switch. The process was smooth and efficient, allowing me to safeguard all my data effortlessly. When I upgraded to a new S24 Ultra, the Crucial X6 SE made the transition a breeze. I simply plugged it in, and within moments, all my data, pictures, and important files were backed up and ready to go. The convenience and reliability of this device are truly impressive. Beyond just backing up my phone data, the Crucial X6 SE excels at storing large video files and pictures, freeing up precious space on my mobile device. This capability is especially important to me, as recently I’ve been capturing several high-quality videos of volleyball games, which often exceed 20GB. Unlike cloud storage, which can take days to upload such large files, the Crucial X6 SE handles it in mere seconds. For anyone needing a fast, reliable, and portable storage solution, I highly recommend the Crucial X6 SE 2TB. It’s incredibly efficient and has significantly simplified my data management and backup process & it's FAST...!!

great drive, no slow-downs copying large files
This little SSD is fast, even for a "lower" end model. Crucial makes faster models, but my usage doesn't require the fastest available. It was a toss up between this and a regular external hard drive. I've dropped the standard external laptop drive before from a distance of about a foot onto hardwood floors and completely ruined it (getting the eternal clicking sound). Nice that this is solid state and I don't have to worry about that. I see some older reviews with buffer/writing problems, they must have updated these to include some RAM cache as I copied dozens of large files (over 10GB each) with no slow downs. Usually the cheaper drives have no cache or very little and you see the speed drop early on around 1Gb as it's full and can't catch up. This one keeps on going and I'd love to see what the faster models could produce. I've added a picture showing the copying of around 100Gb of files, with many .iso's of 20Gb each (or more), and it's 43% into it and not slowing down. Very small, easy to put in your pocket. Smaller than the Sandisk extreme of same capacity. Gets a little warm when copying, but doesn't get hot. Drive is currently formatted MBR/NTFS to be compatible with a few devices.

Fast, Great for Games
Good amount of fast storage. Works pretty fast and I have a ton of games on it. Almost comparable to an internal SSD and cheaper on sale.
