    Amazing sound, horrible battery
The sound quality on these are great. I prefer the sound on my B&O BEOPLAY EQ over these but they're still one of the best sounding earbuds I've ever tried.I had no connection issues and it was really easy to pair to my phone. The only problem is with the in ear detection. Everytime I move to fast or it shifts even a little bit in my ear, the music stops. And it happens often so I had to turn off this feature.I like that there is an app that goes with these earbuds but it is very limited. Sadly there is no adjustable EQ. Fortunately, the sound is great and I don't really feel like I need to adjust the EQ.The ANC and ambient modes work great. I don't hear anything when I have music playing. The touch controls on these are one of the best. It's one of the most responsive touch controls I've used on earbuds. The Pi5 earbuds are also really one of the best looking earbuds out there in my opinion and they're also really comfortable. I have smallish ears and I don't have any issue with the fit of these. They look like they're on the bigger side and they kind of stick out of my ears but they're not heavy at all and I can wear them for hours at a time without experiencing any ear fatigue. The case itself is kind of big and I wouldn't carry it in my pocket but I mainly use these at home and have another earbuds that I carry around with me (it would hurt a lot less if I ever loose them). The lid is a little flimsy but like I said, I don't really carry them around. The battery on these earbuds are terrible. I knew that before I purchased them and I didn't think it would be a problem but now that I have them and actually experience it, I understand how annoying it is to constantly have to take them out to recharge. For this reason alone, I'm considering returning them. I just hesitate on returning them because of all the other pros but realistically I see myself potentially not using these often in the long run due to the battery and end up buying another set of earbuds to use for day to day use.Overall, these are a great pair of earbuds. I do wish that the battery life on these are were better (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5) but I think it's forgivable given all the pros. I'm really happy with the Pi5s and I'm even debating on getting the pi7s to compare the two. But I think you'll be happy with these earbuds.

I bought these for my wife to use for phone calls b/c she is on the phone a LOT for work purposes.
As expected from B&W...excellent sound reproduction overall!!
For misic...I don't know how they manage to produce such a rich and full soundstage. A little heavy on the low frequencies for my personal taste, but one can adjust this with an equalizer app (assuming use with a phone or tablet) if need be.
Excellent sound quality for phone calls. Voices are clear on both ends.
Noise cancelling is a bit subject to the fit in ypur ear. If you get a good seal in your ear canal...lesser ambient sounds do not leak in. Personal comfort level is key IMO. i.e. How hard do you wish to push these into your ears.
A good portion of these buds are metal, so not as light weight as lesser quality earbuds. Still, not nearly as heavy as a pair of over the ear headphones, and still very comfortable.
Comes with 3 additional...I don't know what they are called...the cover portion thst goes into your ear canal. All are different size, so you just need to pick the one that is most comfortable.
Functionally there is a touch sensor. It works as expected and does NOT require a heavy touch.
      Great product over all!!

Hard to pair even with the app, on top of that, the connection was horrible. I would hold my phone and turn my head to my left and the left earpiece would lose connection for up to 5 min straight...smfh
Unacceptable from headphones that cost over $150 in my opinion. I gave it a week to test them and see if maybe they would work better but unfortunately they didn't. Their app really sucks, no equalizer available at all. I've owned technics, bose and senheisser headphones and all performed way better than these ones. I wouldn't recommend them at all. Out of all headphones my favorites were technics and senheisser brands, good quality sound and had equalizer option available on their app. as well as the comfort. Would give them 0 stars if it was possible.

These are made by a company known for exquisite sound quality in audio loudspeakers. Being a mastering engineer, myself, I know B&W are loved by even Abbey Road Mastering, among many other Grammy-winning mastering houses.

These ear-buds aren't those, and nobody should expect them to be. They're tiny. However, they're far from neutral. They're bass-heavy, which is fine for road-use and listening while on a plane or train. However, sitting at home, they're a bit hefty in the low end with lacking articulation and clarity in the low-end. Everything else is ok, even if the mids are slightly scooped.

Battery life isn't great, but again, you can't expect that in light of decent noise-cancellation and sound quality. That said, if B&W would provide an option to reduce the bass, this might could prolong battery life significantly.

Here's my big issue with these ear-buds that made me return them: Functionality is flaky. If I have them in my ears, and I move my ears muscles back, audio may stop playback. There's some SUPER-sensitive controls inside the ear-buds, I would have preferred to simply eliminate, or make optional. Since that didn't seem to be offered, I returned them. It's too difficult to enjoy something unreliable in the sense of trying to sit perfectly still and not adjust them.

Bowers & Wilkins need to improve their wireless game. This is my second pair and after only few weeks of moderate use they are barely usable. The first PI5s worked for few hours and then died. I received a second pair and they continue to have issues at least they worked for little longer this time. The battery life is not sufficient especially compared to the competition, you will be lucky to get a decent workout from them. The sensors are struggling to detect anything it randomly stops in my ear when taken out they stop playing as they should only to play and stop randomly until you put them into the case that means that you will have to put them neatly into their case if you want to talk to anyone even for a minute, there is no stop pass through so you will can’t even leave them in ear. Borderline annoying sounds at every step no one mentions this the headphones will play very loud chimes at every step and while the call quality is one of the only things done well, every time even with the volume level at minimum the first ring is set to the loudest setting and then it switches to the current volume this will kick your eardrum. The case is cheap plastic for that brand and price very poorly designed as well as the taking out of the headphones you need both hands and be careful not to rip of the lid. They sit in ears fairly well and will provide really good passive noise canceling ANC is not going add much more isolation. You will hear People talking loudly, construction noise and any beeping sounds. The only thing that it is good at isolating is cars driving slowly people walking next to you and pretty much all the surrounding sounds that you are used to orient yourself will be blocked but the annoying sounds that you want to block will not be blocked at all. However that is also it’s bad points when walking or exercise they feel uncomfortable because they are too snug.
It unfortunately fails all the things that you want from a wireless headphones the only time that they are usable was at home, where you can have a nice overhead headphones that have amazing sound for that price or less.
Finally the sound quality this is subjective: I found the signature really balanced with silent but wide range bass not overpowering enough for most but not punchy enough 70% volume in quiet environment. Great for listening to any type of music with detail and good quality. There is not enough volume they are very silent and because of ANC 70% volume even outside is ideal for casual listening, however if your favourite song comes on these are quiet.
      That is if they work.
Even when they work it’s not a good design for everyday usage and they are not even worth the price I was unlucky with my items being faulty, however I would not buy them again even if they worked perfectly as the sound quality is not worth so many shortcomings cheap quality and annoyance.

Bought these as replacement for B&W p5 on ear and am not disappointed; great sound quality, noise cancellation works perfectly (in fact ANC brings the sound to another level). Very small & light & very comfortable! On top of that the design is beautiful. Battery life rated on basis of reviews I read as still ‘working on my first charge’. Would highly recommend on basis that the sound quality is as good as the on/over ear B&W’s. As always, Amazon ordering straight forward & fast (reliable) delivery. 👍

Breite Bühnen, tralla....Breites Grinsen, egal ob Pop, Rock, Klassik, Jazz, etc...
