Description

BISSELL® CrossWave® Turbo Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner vacuums and washes floors at the same time and in one easy step! CrossWave® Turbo Pet Pro (with Tangle-Free Brush Roll and innovative Pet Multi-surface formula) cleans better than a sponge mop and bucket and in less time*. You can seamlessly switch between cleaning hard floors to area rugs by the Fingertip Controls, while delivering the right amount of formula to your floors with the On-demand Formula Trigger. The Tangle-Free Brush Roll scrubs to remove debris and minimizes annoying pet hair wrap. CrossWave® Pet Pro is safe for tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, vinyl, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, area rugs,
and more. Two-tank Technology keeps the cleaning solution separate from the dirty water to ensure a fresh mix of formula and water is always being used to clean your floors. The included PET Multi-Surface with Febreze Formula helps eliminate pet odors on your floors. After cleaning, use the Pet Hair Strainer to separate pet hair and large debris from the dirty water in your dirt tank, so hair and debris can be disposed into the garbage and not down your sink. The special Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray also helps you easily clean the machine after use, plus it stores the brush rolls for next time. CrossWave Pet Pro® is truly a groundbreaking multi-floor cleaner that is a must-have for homes with or without pets. BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation® and its mission to help save homeless pets. When you buy a BISSELL® product, you help save pets, too. We’re proud
to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear.

Q: What is the difference between the CrossWave Pet Pro and the CrossWave All in One?

submitted by Bits - 4 years ago
  • A: Thanks for your question! The CrossWave Pet Pro comes with the multi-surface pet brush, multi-surface pet formula, and a pet hair strainer that catches hair and debris in the water tank for easier cleaning after use. Please call us anytime if we can help at 1-800-237-7691.

  • A: And how much with tax for this machine so as to compare it to the 10 other distributors pricing please

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 3 years ago

Q: I know this says it works on area rugs but would it work for carpet?

submitted by Curious consumer - 4 years ago
  • A: For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner. The BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It's not meant for spot cleaning carpet or upholstery. Hope this helps!

  • A: For lower pile carpet that wouldn't be any thicker then that of area rug.... Definitely not good for area rugs that are made out of wool or shag no but but any sort of low pile carpet that isn't shag or wool it would work great on

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 3 years ago

Q: Is this upgrade worth it for the hair trap?

submitted by CS - 4 years ago
  • A: In addition to the pet hair strainer, the CrossWave Pet Pro also includes two 8 oz. Multi-Surface Pet Formulas, two Tangle-Free Brush Rolls, and a Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray.

  • A: Yes . But now if I could simply fine out why that machine we're speaking of is being offered at a wide variety of different prices anywhere from 229 to $400

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 3 years ago

Q: Does it dry the floor after mopping?

submitted by J - 4 years ago
  • A: If you take the time to properly learn to.ise the machine and make sure your only using enough of the sprayer solution.... Per say you're taking a swipe going forward you should be spraying until you get to the end of that swipe and then letting go over the sprayer all the way back so it sucks it so on and so forth you don't want to leave an excessive amount of water and cleaning formula on the floors and it will take longer to suck it up and we'll leave more streaks I've owned a Bissell crosswave not a pet one ... And I've never had really any issues with it until I recently had to use it for a big huge pet mask that's kind of got it all flowed up and I'll tell you if you take the time to use it correctly and keep it cleaned out it works wonderfully but if you have pets I would suggest getting the pet Pro Plus One

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 3 years ago
  • A: It doesn't dry the floor, but it suctions the water off the floor and typically requires a short dry time. Thanks for asking!

Q: I have hardWOOD floors - not faux wood. Would the formula damage the wood? Also, very importantly, the item is described as a floor cleaner and area rugs are mentions are very limited. Is this the best washer option for area rug cleaning?

submitted by Rhs - 4 years ago
  • A: The BISSELL CrossWave is safe and effective for use on sealed hardwood, waterproof hard flooring and area rugs. It's designed to vacuum and wash simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It will vacuum and freshen your area rugs, but it's not going to work like a carpet cleaner. The CrossWave isn't meant for dry vacuuming or deep cleaning carpet or rugs. For shampooing your rugs, we recommend the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner model 1986.

  • A: They also have a brush and solution specifically for hardwood floors a little more money but just so u can rest assured that the scrubber isn't going to cause any scratches or the solution take away any of the protective wood layer . Also whatever you might use to clean your wood floors with you can also use in that machine it doesn't have to be specific to Bissell although of course they want you to use it sometimes I just make up a mixture of Lysol and water and make sure not over do it

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 3 years ago

Q: I have very low pile carpet. Could this vacuum be used to get the general dirt and pet hair off the carpet, since the fibers are so short? I know it says it is for area rugs and honestly, my carpet isn't much deeper than a rug.

submitted by Kay1005 - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Kay - the BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner.

submitted byAskBISSELL - 4 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: I'm not sure why or who it is that's saying that this scrubber this Bissell crosswave machine that cost over $300 and most places is not able to deal with carpet when it specifically says under the details that it does do carpets that are low pile carpet no it's not going to do shag carpets no it's not going to do wool carpets but normal everyday carpets in a house yes it does so I'm not sure why I've read over and over again somebody saying that they don't recommend it when it is recommended right under the details and uses written by Bissell

Q: How much does the clean water tank hold? Am I going to have to refill it every 5 mins?

submitted by Katie - 5 years ago
  • A: I looked up measurements 3.5 cups is not bad

submitted bylooked up - 4 years ago
  • A: No, Katie. The clean water tank holds 828ml and you can fill use the fill lines for small or large jobs.

Q: I've seen conflicting answers, is there a separate button to just vacuum area rugs or does it vacuum and wash every time?

submitted by DMS - 4 months ago
  • A: It's not meant to be used for dry vacuuming. So when you use it and squeeze the trigger on the handle it will releast water and formula. This can be used on hard floor or area rug mode. Area rug mode will spray more.

Summary of reviews

The Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro is valued for its ability to clean multiple surfaces, including hardwood, tile, and area rugs. Despite its effectiveness in removing dirt, hair, and pet messes, some guests find it leaves streaks on floors and requires frequent cleaning, which can be time-consuming. The product's durability is also questioned by some users. The vacuum and mop combination, however, is generally appreciated for its convenience and time-saving benefits.

I felt the roller was difficult to clean. The pet hair gets trapped on the far sides and stops the roller from working. I used needle nose pliers to remove it. When it worked, it did a good job and my house smelled fresh. Now I'm debating if I want another.

This product is not for cleaning laminate floors. My Libman floor mop Swiffer works better. It's only for picking up spills. I still go back over with floor mop Swiffer. The bar mop head hardly touches the floor. Was not impressed with this product, should have sent it back.

This is the most frustrating vacuum I've ever owned!

I splurged and spent the money on this vacuum because I thought it would be so great to have one that I could vacuum and mop with at the same time. We have a large dog, but he is a doodle who doesn't shed much at all. The first time or two I used it I thought it was great, but it took no time at all until it started spitting out dirty water. I have spent so many hours trying to take it apart and clean it and put it back together and every time, it ends up a huge frustration. I've cleaned it thoroughly, taken off the roller and added a new one, and nothing works. I'm extremely disappointed because I thought Bissell was a much better brand than this. I didn't wanna give up because I didn't want it to be a waste of money and I haven't had it that long (just over a year I think) but I guess I'm just going to throw it away because I wouldn't want to give it to anyone else to experience the same frustration. Very, very disappointing & frustrating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My floors always feel clean, I love the convenience of being able to vacuum and wash my floors and area rugs. The removable strainer makes the animal hair easy to clean out of the tank. I have a Shepard mix and 3 cats, and this crosswave keeps up no problem! #sweepstakes

I wanted to love this machine. My husband is not a fan. It is definitely not going to give you the totally clean floor I had hoped for. It doesn't get up hard to remove anything. The self cleaning mode works some time.. all the other times I have to literally hand clean everything. I have to dump the dirty water bin more times than I can count, otherwise it leave trails of dirty water. This is a good machine to use for daily run overs but still go back to my handy broom, mop and bucket, or hands and knees scrubbing. Even for daily cleaning, I find myself not wanting the hassle of the machine and usually break out the good ole swiffer most days. The hassle is just not worth it.

Miss Lynn, the CrossWave is not meant to be used as a dry vacuum. It's for vacuuming and mopping sealed hard floors at the same time eliminating the need to sweep and mop separately. If we can help you with anything at all, don't hesitate to contact us at support.bissell.com.

I received this as a gift for Christmas. I have been wanting one so bad . I was really excited to use it. I do have pets! I read the instructions online and filled the tank up ready Togo. Well it released so much water on my floor it was ridiculous. It doesn't even suck up the water great at all! I thought I pressed the button for too long but I pused it for one sweep then I moved it to the side tried it again but for shorter sweep while holding the button. It did it again. . So after that I just decided to look up videos maybe did something wrong. And I didn't. I triple checked and everything I even tried using it as a vacuum where my cat and dog lay down and doesn't pick up much. So disappointed and there is no way to return it because I don't have any type of reciept!!

I called and spoke to someone from bissell because I needed help deciding on a product. He recommended this for my floors. I later found out there is a steam version that would have actually worked. I do not feel this works for my stained concrete floors. After use I took some cleaner and cleaned it up myself with a towel.

This goes down as my worst purchase ever. I don't even own pets but just using the mop feature a few times has been terrible. You have to thouroughly clean the entire vacuum when you use it and the filter tends to collect moisture and have a mildew smell. Terrible option for a vacuum.

Purchased this vacuum less than a yr ago thinking it would make my life easier as a disabled individual and I always loved Bissell products because of their quality but the quality is definitely not here with this product. Despite using and cleaning it as instructed (we do not even own a pet, thats the funny part), it had to be replaced once by Bissell and sent out for repair another due to emitting a terrible burning motor smell. Outside of this, it constantly leaves a streak of dirty water behind everywhere or balled up hair here and there while vacuuming. Absolutely frustrating, at this point, id rather just own a regular vacuum. After it was replaced the first time, we had only use the mop function TWICE before it went out again, that tag was still attached to the product, thats how much use we got out of it in our household. Steer clear of this item, its a whirlwind of issues for a hefty price. Expected better from Bissell. We own the handheld pet eraser vacuum and its been great, the Crosswave was however a FLOP!

I read other reviews that were mixed and I was giving the product the benefit of the doubt. It works good for a little while but then you notice that it's not really mopping your floor, it's leaving streaks. And despite it being for pets, you have to unclog pet hair constantly. It's not a great product and I wish I had been able to return it while it was still under warrenty.
1 reply from Bissell Homecare, Inc. team - 5 months ago
Hi Cali. If you're trying to clean heavy dirt, hair or debris from your floors, try using the area rug setting as it releases more water and formula on the brush when you squeeze the trigger. If your CrossWave isn't working properly, please give us a call at 1-800-237-7691 so we can help!
