Condition
The larger artichoke: the cover has been broken in 5 pieces and restored, with some associated chips losses along the break lines; it would benefit from being re-restored, as the restoration is old and the breaks show on the exterior. One bract/leaf at the rim has been broken off and glued back in place.
Smaller artichoke: the tin glaze has misfired slightly causing it to 'pull' away from the pottery in places and giving it a 'spotty' appearance, which is somewhat visible in the print and online illustrations; the tip of a bract/leaf on the cover is chipped away; one bract/leaf of the tureen has been broken and restored, the tip of another is restored; the tip of another is chipped and there is some additional occasional minor tiny chips and glaze chips.
