Sleek straightener
This is a great straightener. Gets hot super fast. Looks so nice and sleek. I like I'm able to lock to close so easy to store. Comes with a bag I thought the bag was heat resistant but it's not I was smelling a burned smell and seen the bag was changing color. It's really easy to use . Easy to do my hair in minutes and cuts time on doing my daughter's long hair. I hope it will last a long time.

    I like this hair straightener. It has the option of a high heat which is good for my hair. I already have very straight hair but this worked well to get the kinks out left by my hair band. It also was easy to add a little curl at the end of my hair with this which says a lot because my hair is difficult to get to curl.

    While I think the Silk'n Hair Straightener does a great job with straightening my hair, I'm not sure why it's priced so highly. I'm assuming it's because of the infrared light which is supposed to prevent over-drying of the hair.

    PROs:
    Heats up super fast!
    I love that the control buttons are on the inside of the product. Prevents turning the iron off or changing your temperature in the middle of styling.
    The cord is VERY long at 8 feet. Also has a velcro strap.
    Automatic turn off after 45 minutes.
    It seems to glide through my hair smoothly and straightens nicely.

    CONs:
    The top of the straightener is cool, but the outside of the straightener is pretty hot to the touch.
    While I do like that it came with a storage bag, I"m not entirely positive that it is heat resistant unlike others that come with straighteners.
    The price is my main negative. I'm just not sure that there is anything super special about this product to justify it having such a high cost.

    Review of Silk'n Hair Straightener. This is a fantastic straightener! It heats up quickly and is quite wide, so I think it will suit all density and length of hair (mine is medium dense and shoulder-length). I also like that it comes with a travel/storage case to prevent damage, especially given the price of the straightener. I do think the cost is a tad bit higher than I would normally pay, but it has been about 20 years since I bought a straightener and I will be the first to admit that that purchase was NOT to the quality of this one, both in technology and construction!

    First off, this hair straightener gets hot really fast and you don't have to wait too long. It seems to work really well straightening the hair too. It makes my hair so straight, almost too straight for my liking so I pass it through my hair quickly. The controls are on the side of the iron so that you don't accidentally change the temp while you're using it. It also has a super long cord too. I think if you have thick hair, you might prefer a wider plate, because this plate is not that wide, but it works super well. I don't know if working well can justify the high price point though. I do realize it is a premium brand, and the price is a little too much for me for a tool that is just a straightener.
