Lots of jokes I’d heard before. But a couple were hilarious. One of which was worth buying the book. Lost a star for spelling mistakes within the book. (Spelling mistakes in this review were on purpose and to drive home the point) You have to have more than a grammar program read a joke book. You need an editor. Dave losing his ID does not equal Dav. There were other spelling mistakes that could have easily been fixed if they just proof read their material. The “dad joke” mustache is just a crappy gag. All of the images on EVERY page were the same. Mustache on one side, top hat on the other. But you don’t buy a joke book for the pictures so no star lost there. Only two jokes per page so I felt a little swindled. You can buy smaller jokebooks with 5 or 6 jokes per page for the same price or cheeper.

    I bought this for my step-father as a silly Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it, as it has quite a few dad jokes he hadn't heard before! Unfortunately, there is a side effect of dad jokes books, and that is a slightly annoyed mother who is subjected to random bouts of bad dad jokes. It's OK though, because they came to an agreement that for every dad joke he reads her from this book, that he has to see one Facebook video she wants to show him.
    I call it a win-win!
