A staple in the rituals - it transcends the passive act of routine - of beauty editors and skintellectuals alike, Then I Met You's Living Cleansing Balm effortlessly melts away make up, sunscreen and excess sebum while feeding your skin with antioxidants and fatty acids.
The ultimate first cleanse, this sorbet-soft balm is designed to be massaged into skin - pause to appreciate the sensorial notes of rosemary, persimmon and grapefruit - to easily melt away oil-based impurities. It's crafted from a luxurious blend of lightweight plant oils including sea buckthorn oil (adored for its abundance of fatty acids such as stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, and omega 6); olive oil (a nourishing antioxidant that boasts anti-inflammatory properties and supports your skin barrier); finally, grapeseed oil (an antioxidant-rich emollient that nourishes as it gently lifts impurities - cue round of applause). It doesn't end with that holy trinity of oils though - it's also laced with persimmon extract to protect your skin from free radicals and promote a brighter tone, plus vitamin E to promote a healthy, youthful finish. We're so glad we met this formula...
For the first step of your double cleanse, use the spatula to scoop a dime-sized amount onto dry skin and gently massage in circular motions. Add a splash of warm water to emulsify and remove oil-based impurities. Rinse thoroughly before moving to step two, a water-based cleanse with the Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel.

Love this cleansing balm!
One of the best cleansing balms I've ever used. I have tried different brands over the years and I've since repurchased this. I love how buttery this is. I use an eye make-up remover before removing the rest of my makeup with this cleansing balm. It does an excellent job. It smells lovely and I love how the balm glides so smoothly on the face. It's just an overall very enjoyable experience!

Skin feels like BUTTERR!
I will be honest, when I first tried this I thought there isn't anything special about this other than the vibrant yellow balm and beautiful packaging. However I took a break from using this and tried another cleansing oil/balm. When I returned to THIS?!?! I immediately realised the difference. This feels so much more luxurious, hydrating and gets rid of all the makeup. I think your routine should feel like a spa experience and this delivers that! 10/10Â

Perfect
I really do love this. Yummy fruity scent (but don't be tempted to eat it!), and removes all makeup and dirt at the end of the day. Leaves skin feeling smooth and soft after use, and clean! It's also been lasting me for ages because you only need to use a little amount, and the little applicator stick is a nice bonus.
