      I've been a 3-year customer of Waterdrop. Ever since I needed a solution to get economical affordable quality water sources since it was starting to get too expensive to get water bottles on top of it just getting tired of lugging around packs from stores and not having some way to install a full-fledged water filter system in my kitchen as I lived in a shared house for rent. The first model I bought was the 40-cup Large Water Filter (WD-WFD-22L) it initially served its purpose of allowing me to filter regular kitchen sink tap water and it made the water taste not only better but recently it felt "off" as it were a slew of chemicals or that the water wasn't fully treated even though the city does a pretty good job of doing that. This was caused when I moved to a new place where I was forced to start using the bathroom sink water and sometimes the tub facet water I noticed a sharp change in the taste of the water that even with a brand new filter didn't feel safe to drink at all. I needed this to work for me because I couldn't afford to move to another place let alone go up and down the stairs to the actual kitchen as I suffered a knee dislocation injury from being an Amazon delivery driver back in December 2023 that they wouldn't cover for the knee arthroscopy in a petty retaliation for penny-pinching leaving me with minimal options to safely drink water in my state of being without anyone to help me as an adult male. This electric version of what I bought was worth that upgrade because the filter on this version is better in water taste and makes it at the very least taste like what I had going on with the other version which I now consider a downgrade. If you are looking between those two versions, this is an elevated choice and you're getting what you are paying for. This water isn't phenomenal tasting but I can unconsciously drink it without making strange faces like I used to because it tasted off whereas now I take my regular supplements with it and add drink flavor enhancers to it and it just tastes great in that regard. In truth, the more you invest, the better the water will not only taste but also the better filtration system you'll get. I know that's not always feasible for people these days who are beginning to get more and more health conscious but I would say this is a fantastic entry level into that realm and I imagine that once I get a place of my own I'll be going back to WaterDrop for my next upgrade for that next phase in my life.

      The media could not be loaded.
      I've just set it up, which is very easy. I washed it when I unpacked it first, let it dry and set it up today. I followed the instructions as they say to throw out the first tank of water to flush the filter and you really have to do that because that first water came out almost muddy. Anyways, the first glass of water I tried does taste clean, not like the bottled water I'm accustomed to drinking but it doesn't taste like it came straight from the tap which is utterly disgusting in my town. I think tho if the flow was a little slower it may do a better job but it's still a good filter, I'll be using it for sure. I got the bigger capacity because I'll be using that water for everything around the kitchen pretty much so don't want to fill it up every few hours.

      Stopped working on day 3, as though battery died, but I really liked it before that. Called customer service, which was such a hassle. First, he told me that it needed a new filter. I asked how is that possible when the filter was used only 3 days but estimated to be used for 90 days? I had kept track and only used 7 gallons. Then he asked me if the issue is the charging cord or not. I told him I don't know, that I used the cord that came with it, as well as other cords we have since it fits phone cords, but none charge it. He asked me about the type of cords, like the wattage or voltage, so I read him what the cords said and he told me I don't seem to understand him. I asked him what information he wants, and he said never mind. He kept asking me the product name, so I kept reading him the product name off of the Amazon title since I no longer had the box. He kept saying that doesn't help because they have a lot of products, then named off various products. I kept explaining that the names he used were not obviously connected to my product. I read him what I could find on the product, as well as on the Amazon description. He kept signing and treating me like I was stupid, explaining more slowly that they have various products. I kept telling him I can only give him the Amazon description and that if his system doesn't label products the same that I don't know how to help. I asked him if I can email him a picture of the product and a screenshot from Amazon, but he told me that wasn't necessary. He asked me about the color for the 10th time. He said he would have someone contact me via email. After well over an hour of talking to him on the phone, facing his condescending attitude, I felt very frustrated that he seemed to have a hard time understanding that I was not making up a description but simply reading him the title and descriptive info from online. Since I was facing a lot personally, with my son returning home from a ruined trip with Covid and packing up the whole house by myself for a move while taking care of 7 puppies and my other animals and my young daughter while still going to work every day, when I opened the email and saw it was going to be more round and round I just gave up. I threw the water filter and container away. My sons and daughter never liked it anyway, convinced that it turned on for them but not off so spilling quite a few times--and this was an 8, 18, and 22 year old so not just little kids. It was a little finicky, but I learned it likes the entire finger tip over the sensor, not too quickly, and to stop before filling the glass too near the rim in case I needed to try a second time to turn it off. It fills the glass slowly. But I really liked the look and the concept

      Había estado funcionando pero hoy al cambiarle el filtro se volvió loco, es el filtro indicado pero se acciona solo, he tenido que trapear la cocina 3 veces, ya lo desconecte y sigue accionándose por el mismo. Que pena que no es nada barato y solo funcione por 3 meses

      Got it way earlier that should be. Easy to use, nice looking and water taste great.
      1st big glass of water was dark color, so i pushed 5 big glasses to be sure that water going nice and clear.
