I have known about Unhide for a few years, but I just hadn't taken the leap yet. I am so glad I finally did!

I purchased the Marshmallow blanket in the color Beige Bear in size Medium.

First of all, the size is perfect. I love a nice, big oversized blanket and the Medium is just that.

I really struggled with what color to get. I happy that I got the Beige Bear color. It is a warm cream with a dash of tan to it. It literally matches everything.

The Marshmallow has two layers to it. The top layer is the thick, heavy fur fabric. The bottom layer is thinner and has a velvet texture to it. When using the blanket the velvet layer kind of falls down and hugs your body. (The velvet layer is sewn onto the top layer only on the edges of the blanket.) The top fur layer is a little more rigid and lays nicely over the top, forming a cocoon. It is very warm and cozy. And both layers of material are definitely soft.

Though this blanket is not technically a weighted blanket it is heavy! I only mention the weight because this is not something you would probably want to carry around with you everywhere.

Overall this blanket feels substantial and very high-quality in your hands. When you use this product you can tell it is something special.

I did have a problem with shedding when my item first arrived, but Unhide was wonderful and was able to help me with a replacement. The new item does not shed and the issue was resolved.
