This product is amazing! I purchased this because I was in dire need of an affordable yet high quality solder for my basic electronic hobby projects. The flux/rosin core is amazing, despite it leaving sticky residue and a film over the joints. The solder is of equal diameter, and with a good texture. It is not too floppy, nor stiff, and I really like how easy it is to use! It comes completely like as described! I have used this for many THROUGH HOLE components because although it may work, it is not suitable for small SMD component only because of the 0.8mm diameter. And although there are some noticeable differences between production-grade solder and this solder, I think it’s great for all hobbyists with a wide range of melting temperatures.

I like to keep 63-37 on hand for small electronic projects and noticed my old brand wasn't available currently so I purchased this and I was delighted. I use a Weller set to 340 C and tried with and without flux on Awg gauges 16-28 and was pleasantly pleased with how well the solder flowed and held. No mess, no splatter no, sharpe edges, just a clean joint and no cleanup. Great value for the money and easy to use as long as you follow soldering practices and I would highly recommend.

This solder works fine. No surprises.
I had a big reel of multi-core solder that disappeared when we moved to a new State. THAT stuff was the best I've ever used. Yes, that missing multi-core solder is tainting my review of this MAIYUM 63-37.
This MAIYUM 63-37 takes a bit longer to work, and is considerably more expensive. Nevertheless, it's very good, and does the job.

After watching many YouTube videos about retro computers I decided to give repairing my original Macintosh. The presenters recommend using lead rosin core wire and used this MAIYUM brand with great results.

The quality of this made my work very easy, even though it was very precision and I had to work through a magnifier. The fine 0.8mm wire kept its shape while aligning it and flowed perfectly once I applied solder heat to it. The quality rosin core allowed it to flow without using flux which afforded easy cleanup. The resulting joints were smooth, with a nice shiny finish indicating a strong and reliable connection.

With this great price and the great performance I am extremely happy and highly recommend.

I'm very much a begginer and only have a cheap iron to work with, but the solder seems to do a very serviceable job, far easier to get good joins than with the lead free sample that came with the iron. Flows well into the joins.

The use of tip tinner made a big improvement too.
