    3. Is The Loog Guitar only for kids?

      Absolutely not. We designed them for kids, but even the Loog Mini is certainly suitable for just anybody who likes to play guitar.

      What is the minimum age recommendation for Loog Guitars?

      We recommend the Loog Mini for children 3 and up, the Loog Pro for kids 6 and up, and the Loog Pro VI for kids 9 and up.

      Can I play ANY song on a 3-string guitar?

      Yes. In fact, a regular chord in a standard 6-string guitar is usually comprised of no more than 3 notes. Loog Guitars allow you to play real chords and any song.

    My daughter played with a Loog at a friend’s and loved it so I decided to order one for our family. Our Loog came smelling of spray paint, with the white nut part fallen off. I stuck it back on but it has again since fallen off many times. I contacted the company and they told me it just super glue it which I found to be upsetting considering the price.Update- after I super glued the nut back on glue escaped out of the sides and also somehow got smeared in one area. I was really upset this was the outcome to following their advice and decided to email one more time. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to replace the guitar after all and really appreciate that. We have a new one coming soon. I am relieved because I didn't want a super glue covered guitar after spending $80.I really love the Loog and have been learning on their app so I can teach my daughter. I have never played a guitar before and learning on the 3 string is a lot of fun and not hard at all. I like that you can tune your Loog and watch instructional videos with the phone app. It's a wonderful product and I am very hopeful that our replacement will be in good condition.

      Pros: Good construction, neck is solid, intonation is good and tuners actually work well. Comes with some educational stuff and seems pretty durable. Nylon strings take a bit to stay in tune, but overall very cool little instrument.

      Cons:
      No tuner, or any instruction on what the tuning should be without downloading an app. There are chord charts which are fine, but if I wasn't already a musician, I wouldn't have been able to get this thing tuned for my kid out of the box and honestly still don't know what tuning it's supposed to be because nobody has time to download yet another app.

      No strap! This is a beginner set, most novice guitar packages come with a strap, they put real guitar strap buttons on there, but don't include it. They charge 20$ for the Loog strap separately which is ridiculously overpriced.

      I would've gladly paid an extra 20$ for a clip-on tuner, paper with tuning instructions and a strap.. bit really should be part of the set, considering this thing was a hundred bucks.

      The Loog is a great way to get kids started into music. They can play many songs with just one finger chords which makes it easy for them to feel highly accomplished and that they are "making music" right from the start. The app is decent and getting better, and Loog keeps expanding their lineup and products. This is the 12th Loog product we've purchased for our kids, nieces, and nephews.

      Don’t waste your money! Very cute, but lasted a couple of plays over 2 months before the top of the guitar started coming off. When I reached out to Loog they suggested wood glue. For $100+ I think they should have used a bit more themselves! If you have a small kiddo purchase the cheaper Amazon one, this is not worth the $$$.

      Cosa può fare il marketing!!! Per "soli" 100 euro (!!) ho acquistato una chitarrina che per materiali e suonabilità' è pari a un qualsiasi Ukulele da 20 euro (ovviamente parlo del prezzo al pubblico, perché, come la Loog, al produttore costa - forse - 5 euro in Cina). La "trovata" è aggiungere un app con una grafica accattivante e paracula, di fatto inutile perché le tablature e un accordatore si trova tranquillamente gratis online e su Apple Store o Google Play. Ed è volare la povertà dei materiali che vostro figlio la mollerà dopo poche ore, perché gli faranno male le dita e perché passerà il tempo a riaccordarla. Inoltre, tutto è in inglese (incluse le note musicali, diverse dalle nostre) quindi come fa un bambino non anglofono a capire cosa sta facendo? NON BUTTATE I SOLDI (TANTI!!) SU QUESTA SPAZZATURA.
