      I have a 6 year old and Yoto Mini has been a game changer. It's screen-free and totally safe--no camera or ads or anything. It's amazing that my daughter now doesn't immediately ask for my phone or the iPad. She listens to stories, music, and is totally into it. It's perfect for road trips, and it's given us an extra 30-60 minutes at restaurants or in the mornings. Everything from books to Disney stuff. And I was impressed by the amount of free content. They have a daily podcast called Yoto Daily that's incredible. Run, don't walk--Yoto is the best product we've bought for our daughter in I can't even remember how long!

      Bought this for my 18 month old to grow with her. I’m so glad I bought the mini instead of the large version. It’s portable, which she loves to carry around the house and yard, and I imagine this will be handy when we go on trips. Plus, because you’re able to store all your cards digitally on the app, I’m able to play her favorite cards via my phone and car speakers.

      She’s too young to know what she’s doing, but she’s figured out how to switch out the card and enjoys changing the dials. I bought the jacket and would highly recommend.

      The cards that came in this pack are great. She loved the playground songs.

      Also, this has been a very good replacement for screen time. I’ve bought cards that have all her favorite songs and she loves it.

      Point blank: This is a game-changer product. My oldest child already owns a full-size Yoto (absolutely obsessed and uses daily), but I decided to pull the trigger on a Mini knowing we have summer travel coming up. I will say - the Mini is CLUTCH! Such a good item to have - whether as your one and only Yoto, or as a supplement to an original Yoto for ‘on-the-go’.

      First thing - it’s incredible for all ages. My 5 year old AND my 2.5 year old are both so so so into it. And I love that I can tailor content for each based on their likes/preferences/ages with the massive assortment of cards available - across stories, music, learning, etc. The Mini Starter pack comes with a nice array to kick things off, but I also added some custom cards that I knew my youngest would love (Peppa, Daniel Tiger, Sesame Street etc). I especially enjoy that it keeps the kids entertained without the emphasis on a screen/device. This is extra important to me re bedtime routine - we love to put on a quiet bedtime story or meditation card in the evenings to really slow things down - it’s been incredibly helpful.

      Second thing - the size is genius - can easily tuck it in my purse and offer it to the kids when we’re in the car, which is so useful for trips longer than 10 mins or so - it keeps them engaged, without the risk of car sickness from reading or looking at a screen. Also love that there are ZERO ADS - it’s just pure content.

      Third thing - it’s SO easy to use. It has limited controls that are purely functional (allow you to adjust volume, or advance chapters/songs). The design is very intuitive and even my 2.5 year old figured it out very quickly. PS. I would highly recommend getting the adventure jacket with the little wrist cord - helps keep it protected and is easier to hang onto - especially when in the car.

      Legitimately, the Mini is absolutely one of the best ‘kid purchases’ I’ve made this Summer. Can’t recommend it enough.
