Naturium Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5% - 1 fl oz

I bought this a day ago. I already use the 0.10 retinol product by this brand and love it. The hyaluronic acid I was currently using is not longer being offered and since I loved this brand’s retinol product, I thought I would try the hyaluronic acid. Last night I used it and it felt good on the skin. Used it after the retinol product. This morning I used it on a damp face followed my the moisturizer I have used for quite a while. Now my face is red in places, slightly burning sensation and the combo has a pilling effect. Is this normal? Note - I did not shake the bottle before using. I didn’t know I was supposed to until I read the info on this site. Could this be the cause?

I've been using this product for a few years and have loved how moisturized it made my face and neck feel and appear. The last bottle I purchased had a different chemical smell than usual...I figured that they maybe changed the ingredients, but used it anyhow. After using it I had a rash or burn on my face and neck. I stopped using it until the rash/burn was completely cleared up, and then waited another full week before trying it again. I used it before bed, and sure enough, awoke with a red bumpy face and neck. Since Naturium boxes don't come sealed, I don't know if they changed the ingredients, or if it was tainted by someone who then returned the bottle as unused to the store

I went from skinceuticals HA intensifier and their HA B5 gel to this and I’m seeing better results in a matter of weeks than what I was seeing with a higher price HA. It’s tacky at first (I don’t mind) then it dries down nice and smooth. It’s a nice product. To early to see if it’s another HG from them!

It seems like every HA serum is super soapy and doesn't absorb well but it is so obvious that Naturium uses such high quality ingredients to make a stellar product.

I love Naturium products and it’s a tried and true brand for me, and while I think this is a fine product, it did nothing for me personally. I’ve used for a few months now and have noticed no change in my skin at all, and definitely not extra hydration. It might work for others though, and I still love the brand!

This is just for hydration of the skin. If you’re trying to build up your skin barrier this would be great under an occlusive.

Noticed difference right away

I really like this serum so far. It adds a layer of moisture under my daily lotion. Not greasy at all. Would recommend.

I’ve tried several hyaluronic acid serums and this is the most expensive one I’ve used, it doesn’t seem to be much better than the cheapest I’ve used. I definitely wouldn’t recommend and I won’t get it again but I am using it. It just seems watered down like the boots brand serum.

I’ve had other hyaluronic acid serum, but I feel like this one absorbs the best it doesn’t leave the face feeling tight like others have. I am going on my second bottle

I don’t have sensitive skin but every single time I try to incorporate this product into my routine my face gets so dry especially around eyes, nose and mouth. I’ve even tried using just my basics - face wash and moisturizer no other serums and creams.. and still dries me out bad!

Unless solicited, I never leave a review. I literally went online to specifically to see where I could review this product. I lived on the beach for 20 years. Probably don't need to add more to that...yes, I wanted that tan. As a result, for years now I have been seeing a dermatologist and clearing up all those sun spots, and even had skin cancer on my nose. I have tried many very expensive products--some of those recommended by my dermatologist--that did little to even my complexion. I tried Naturism body lotion on my arms and noticed a result, so I decided to try this on my face. Literally, within 4-5 days I noticed a huge difference. I am an active 76-year-old who enjoys hiking and outdoor activities, so I don't really like to try to cover imperfections with foundations so I don't wear it. Now, I can say, I don't need it. I have recommended this to two different people who have purchased it and are waiting for results. I told them they will not have to wait long. Even my husband has noticed the difference. I don't have any close-up BEFORE pictures or I would send pictures. I strongly recommend this product. I use it morning and night followed with the appropriate moisturizer. It is amazing.
