I have purchased three over twice as many years, and it's not that they're wear out that quick.
 I just use the heck out of them.

I keep buying them.

I really like this little air cooler.  It makes a big difference for me in terms of sleeping well at night.  You want to put it at the head of the bed, it will blow cool air all night on the second speed and you will feel cooler.  I'm 5'4'' tall and it blows past my feet.  I don't have to refill it until the morning.  My cat likes it too!

Awesome and worth the money.  Sleep is priceless.

This unit does what it claims to do. I gave it 4stars because it does need to be close to you to get the desired result.  Also, you need to make sure it has water in it or it simply acts like a fan. I had a similar unit that did the same thing for about a third of the price. However,  it only lasted for about 6 months so time will tell.

Does what it says

This does work for a small area. It does not spit out the water. I like it. It is a bit pricey for the size. However, on this 100 degree day, totally worth it.

I like it

It does work well to keep the room cool at night. But it isn't as quite as all the reviews make it out to be.  The button light on top is insanely bright. But happy for the most part.

Does it's job, just not as quietly as advertised

Definitely not cold enough to cool a small room. My box window fan was more effective.

Absolutely terrible. Barely works at all. Complete waste of money. Wish I could get my money back. Absolutely useless.
