Bought this because of we got the original and wanted a new version.
What I love:
*It's a little more challenging than the original version. Mainly because the small images are smaller. I like that.
*It's rated for age 6+, but younger children can enjoy this game. Sure, it would be more challenging, but they can participate so they aren't left out. Especially if they are children of the same age. So I would almost say as young as 4 could play.
*The storage tin.
*Directions with a few different ways to play
What I don't love:
* I swear that I'm NOT picky and surprised that this bothers me as much as it does. The cards have a different coating on them compared to the original version we have. I know, I know....super picky. They are more slippery and slide around a lot. Not a fan. The original version of the cards feel like the finish on a regular deck of cards. Much better than the sleek, shiny finish on these.
This doesn't change how I feel about the game and I would certainly not avoid purchasing because of this. But on the off chance that the maker of this game sees my review, maybe they will make the cards like the original version.
