La Ligne

Ready-to-wear label La Ligne was founded in 2016 by Meredith Melling and Valerie Macaulay– both former editors of American Vogue – and Rag & Bone alumna Molly Howard with a single specialism; a celebration of stripes. Drawing inspiration from the wardrobes of Françoise Hardy, Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot, comfort, form and fit define the label’s relaxed aesthetic, characterised by nonchalant shapes and a rigorous focus on fabric. The result is a curated selection of wardrobe staples that feel elegant and contemporary in equal measure.
