BLACKPINK’s Jennie is putting her own twist on the current “it” sneakers. Donned by models, influencers, and sneaker enthusiasts, the Adidas Samba has reigned supreme in the fashion world for quite some time. You may have spotted a pair on stars like Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber. But a new (arguably very similar) shoe has entered the chat thanks to artist and fashion icon Jennie Kim.
Along with the other BLACKPINK members, Jennie serves as a brand ambassador for Adidas, often appearing in campaigns and sporting the brand on the go. In a new Instagram post, Jennie opted for the Velosamba Cycling Shoes. While these sneakers also feature Adidas’ signature three stripes like the Sambas, the Velosamba is marked by a minimalistic logo (the three-stripes one rather than the trefoil of the Originals like the Sambas) and a discrete cycling mount built into the soles. The best part, however, is that they are on sale right now.

Though the Velosamba sneakers can be worn for cycling, Jennie styled them casually with a plaid frock and crew socks. As for details, she wore a pendant necklace with charms inside including a sun and heart. She completed the look by letting her long brown hair, which was orange not too long ago, loose.
While it’s only the beginning of August, the look is perfect for the transition from late summer to early fall, especially with BLACKPINK’s upcoming album and tour on the horizon. (It's never too early to start planning your concert outfit, after all! And what could possibly be a better source for style inspiration than the BLACKPINK members themselves?)
