Sagrada Studio was founded in 2022 by Hema Persad, a driven, entrepreneurial spirit who reinvented her career twice before leaning into the world of interior design. With her background in corporate law and celebrity styling, she brings a unique and novel skill set to the interior design world. Based on Persad’s belief that there is no more sacred (“sagrada”) space on earth than where we live and create, Sagrada Studio focuses on designing both residential and commercial spaces with an eye towards international influences, and richly layered livability.Sagrada Studio has designed projects for notable clients including Jay Shetty, Poorna Jagannathan, and the Property Brothers, quickly gaining a reputation for a forward-thinking and creative point of view, and garnering immediate media coverage from prestigious outlets including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Business of Home, and Rue Magazine. In July 2023, just one year after the official launch of the studio, Architectural Digest named Sagrada Studio one of eight 2023 New American Voices, catapulting the firm into a new stratosphere.
