perfect for what I needPamThis pull out sofa is fantastic where and for what I need. 5
Not very good.Yung ChiehAfter using it for 6 months, one of the wooden parts broke. Now the bed is uneven. I can only say that the quality is not very good.1
Perfect piece for our camperShellyPerfect piece for our camper5
Very comfortable. BharatVery good looking, very comfortable, very easy to turn sofa in to bed. You good quality and good for value price. 5
Great sofa bedEleanorThis is a great sofa bed that's not too heavy and without that back killing bar in many sofa beds. Definitely needs either the IKEA mattress topper or a think foam pad.5
Broke on day 2, Fabric started pilling on week 5VasilikiDid not really like this one. Feels sturdy and the sofa to bed mechanism is very easy, but the main wooden support beam broke on day 2 with just normal sitting on the couch by one person. No excessive weight or jumping on it. I believe it may be a design flaw as the main wooden beam is quite long, bears most of the weight, has no secondary support and it is constructed using really soft wood. Also the Customer service experience to get the spare part was dreadful. Moreover the fabric started piling on week 5 of normal use which is unacceptable. Would not recommend this1
FrihetenMinhIt makes a squeaky sound when you sit on it.1
Cushion wears fast!ValeryI bought this couch about 3-4 years ago and the cushion where you sit is so uncomfortable now. You can feel the wood slats underneath. I understand the normal wear and tear but this shouldn't happen this fast. The couch doesn't get used that often and we're average weight people. Other that sitting being uncomfortable, everything else is fine. It still looks very nice but I'm almost embarrassed to have people sit down. Definitely need to get a different couch. For the price it should last at least 5+ years without deteriorating. 1
Sofa bed for a rentalJohnI have had it for one month and it comes in 2 boxes. My 22 & 26 year old assembled it as I collected the trash from the packaging. We used a cordless power device to move faster as we had a time limit and a hubby that had one, but the tools needed are supplied. The material was tested the first week with toddlers and the material cleaned up nicely. I bought a queen mattress cover that fits with only a little looseness - I store it in the back bottom area with a pillow - this is swapped out with the three back cushions to store while flat open and in use. It is longer than a traditional queen sofa bed - so check your measurements- but what is nicer is it doesn’t open up out into the room as far so there is extra room when in use for my place. I did test this sofa in the store 3 times with different family members before buying.5
Great for a Small SpaceCathyThis was quite the assembly feat, even for a seasoned Ikea customer! It was easy enough and everything fit as expected; it was just a long process. The sofa, however, is perfect for my spare bedroom which has been converted to a work from home space. Others have complained about how firm the seat/mattress is but I love it and think it is perfect. I love the storage underneath and the ease of conversion to a bed. I think what I love most, however, is that it has a relatively small footprint for a pull out sofa, a modern clean look, and it is comfortable for what it is. For an everyday sofa, it isn't the most comfy, but for decent seating and flexibility in a spare room, it is great! I almost went with a daybed when converting the room. We had a queen bed in the spare room before, so I immediately thought of a pull out daybed. A decent looking daybed with mattress, though, was actually more than this sofa and not as clean looking.5
Good ratio price/qualityYevhenPerfect sizing. Comfortable sleeper sofa. However the sleeping surface is not flat when unfolded. The fabric is easily soiled but looking great. After a month of use the overall impression is good5
It’s pretty good what I need EbruIt’s really good 5
Most comfortable convertible I’ve ever triedJohnEasy two person assembly. Great for sitting and the best convertible I’ve ever tried. Easy to convert which I do every day. 5
Perfect fit.MichaelMy only suggestion would be to shorten the seat depth. I like to sit up straight with my back against the back. Nobody in our family can do that. Other than that, it is a great sofa. I love the firmness and the style.5
Nice practical sleeper sofa! With a caveatAlexI really love the idea of this sofa. We got ours almost 6 years ago, in a burnt sienna color. It has held up well. The bed is definitely comfortable enough to sleep on for a couple of nights, without the need for an extra mattress pad. However, the comfort as a couch is a bit lacking in my opinion. The couch setup is quite deep, meaning I'm either sitting with my back lacking support for the back of the couch and needing a pillow inbetween, or slouched back so many legs aren't hanging. This isn't the worst, but where I think it's been a bit detrimental is that you can generally feel the wooden supports where the gaps between individual seat cushions would exist. This I believe has caused me some lower back and leg problems over time, as the seat cushion has worn out some. My wife still finds the couch very comfortable, so maybe my ~190lbs frame is just a bit too much for the cushion. I'd recommend this couch, but just be aware of potential long term comfort as a couch.4

Practical and FunctionalDaraI bought two of these for my airbnbs 4 years ago. It just struck me yesterday that they are that old already and still look very good and are still holding together fine, even being used by the general public all this time. The storage space inside the sofa is very handy, and the covers on the sofa can be removed and machine washed. The only downside for this sofa that I see is that it's not really good for larger humans for sleeping on, and most Americans are pretty large these days. But so far in over 700 guest stays I have not had anyone complain about this sofa. If the current ones I have were to get ruined I would most likely be buying the same one again. It was easy to assemble, also. I actually paid my 14-yr-old to put it together and here we are 4 years later and it's still holding together fine.5
Lovely!!RebeccaWe really like this piece!! Was easy to assemble and our guests find it comfortable to sleep on. 5
Great space saving couchPatrickPerfect couch for our needs-fits the space and becomes a bed!5
Friheten sofa sleeperAntonellaThis is a perfect solution for adding a large bed for guests, who said it was firm and comfortable. I used a foam pad atop, which I can store in the spacious storage bin beneath the seat along with pillows. I have seen similar sofas advertised lately at a cheaper price, but I got quality fabric, reliability of IKEA's reputation and durability. You get what you pay for.5
