Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy.
Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy. There is plenty to do and see. You can cover most areas on foot and there is a good bus service to other parts of Menorca. The harbour area is attractive with boat trips which are a great way to see the city and get an idea of its' history. It is also a very pleasant area to walk and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars both in the harbour area and in the centre of town. Menorca has lovely beaches and because it is a relatively small island it is easy enough to reach anywhere from Mahon

Mahon is an interesting town with a large harbour and many individual shops. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants. The streets are clean and the main town centre is pedestrianised so is very easy to get around.

The hotel is very well situated ato explore the old town and is just 5 minutes from the famous fish market. The nearby churches are a must to see and offer sanctuary on a hot day !!

A good base to discover the rest of the island, I think that buses can get you to a fare number of places but as frequent visitors we invariably have a car waiting at the airport. Mahon is full of character, steeped in history. Boat trips available round the huge harbour.

Mahon port is a must, lovely to walk around and there are 2 lifts to take you from the port to the old town.
We love art galleries and museums and met some wonderful people.
Not a place for children really, Better for children on the west side of the Island.
Some really good restaurants Tap Can, La Opera and especially Perla!
The hotel in a superb central locaton. Bus station, where you can catch the air-conditioned coaches to most resorts on the island, is a two minute walk. The staff welcoming & extremely helpful. The hotel communal area is spotless, as are the rooms which are cleaned & towels changed daily.
Supply of water in the room fridge which is refillable is refreshing after a day in the heat of Mahon, and the complimentary snacks served daily from 2pm - 1am in the lounge were a real treat too.
Peaceful and elegant place close to Mahon. We fell in love with the location (the garden and how is daily maintained by the owners is really outstanding) and with the friendliness of the staff (a very warm welcoming, they always made their best to satisfy our requests).
The location is in Menorca countryside, really close to Mahon, to east beaches and to other point of interests; we had a car and in a short time we were able to reach all our destinations on the island.
Fantastic boutique hotel set in an Mahon 3 storey townhouse with perfect location in Mahon. The owner has created a very individual, arty and homely place where you feel so much at home. Organic breakfast was great and free amendments available all day such as coffee, tea, fruits and cake. The owner is very welcoming and so helpful, gaves us a lot of great advice on resturants, beaches, walks and interesting history to visit. This place is highly recommended!
This is a very special hotel, the loveliest we have ever stayed in. The staff make you feel so welcome and we were greeted at the door as soon as our taxi pulled up.

Phenomenal! I can’t emphasize enough how tastefully this old building has been renovated. The staff were all incredible and went above and beyond to help us with all of our needs. I would say this has to be the most memorable hotel stay ever for my wife and I. The level of hospitality here cannot be captured in a review.
