The camera is great! But had a horrible experience with Amazon.
The Sony A7s3 is a great camera! I love it. But wanted to leave a review regarding Amazon's technical support and return process. I received a defective unit which has a 1px vertical online on the images. Not just the LCD screen and EVF but the actual file. I started a return request from the automatic system but got an error. So I had to contact support to ask for a replacement. The whole process took me more than 40 minutes with the Amazon. They tried to troubleshoot the problem by - Taking out the battery - Wiping the lens - Using a blower The most frustrating thing was the tech commented that "I could barely see the defect on the image". After all that hassle, they eventually accepted the return. The did not have a replacement so I had to get a refund. So I shipped back the item and it was returned to Amazon within two days. It has been two weeks and I have never received my refund yet. I know eventually that I will get the refund, but the process is very slow. Also, they should have better knowledge on the technical support side. Not just saying the "Wipe the front of the lens" I have had a lot of good experience with Amazon and will still continue to support them. But for my professional needs, I will probably be better off with B&H or Adorama.
