Australian label ALÉMAIS’ appreciation for the natural world informs both its sun-kissed designs and manufacturing processes. Founded by Lesleigh Jermanus – a designer with 20 years’ experience in the industry – it focuses on celebrating and supporting traditional artisanal craftsmanship as well as protecting ecosystems and local communities. Organic and durable fibres such as hemp, ramie and linen are spun into airy fabrics ideal for warm climes, then decorated with eclectic prints that are underpinned by a retro sensibility. Expect ultra-feminine silhouettes trimmed in tumbling ruffles that evoke a romantic mood.
