This is my first impression of the product. I’m a dark skin girly with KP and hyperpigmentation. This lotion is very, very thick & almost pasty feeling ! A very little goes a long way with this product . After about a minute of applying it, I felt a tingling sensation. It’s tolerable. It left almost a weird chalky feel on my hands after applying it. This is a first impression but I do feel the thickness of the lotion will penetrate the KP. I recommend washing your hands after you apply it. This doesn’t have a sent at all!! I did not put any on my face. they recommend not wearing this lotion outside in the sun it may increase sun burn.

    When I was younger I found the perfect AHA lotion by Jergens. Seriously, it was cheap, smelled good, and worked beautifully on my youthful skin. However, as I've gotten older- it seems dry, flaky, dead skin kept piling up no matter what I used, whether in the shower or out. Being fed up, I did a simple Google search for rated exfoliating lotions. This one was in the top 5 since it contains uric acid, lactic acid, AND has the highest percentage of alpha hydroxy available outside your dermatologists office at 17%. The bottle reads: Glytone Resurfacing Lotion- and they aren't kidding!

    **I understand lots of people use the word 'amazing' these days to sum up things in life that should really be considered more 'great' or at most 'fantastic'**

    It's unscented and a fairly thick lotion, so a single pump goes a long way. I used it shoulders-to-toes the first night after a long soak in the bath to help loosen any extra stubborn calluses, bumps, and dead skin- though I highly doubt I needed to. The next morning my skin felt AMAZING. Seriously, I was thoroughly impressed with how supple, rejuvenated, and hydrated my skin felt. My skin hadn't felt this nice for several years thanks to sun exposure, age, stress, and a bit of motherhood related neglect. Ladies- you know that feeling immediately after you've shaved your legs and almost everything you wear or brush up against feels like smooth silk on your skin- Glytone lotion did that for my skin without shaving! Additionally, if works beautifully as prep for shaving since it takes care of any potential ingrown hairs allowing your shave to last a little longer. It's also great for those annoying little ketosis bumps you can get on the back of your arms or legs.

I was previously using MUAC AHA Body Lotion (which was 18% AHA blend $19 for 8 oz and nearly perfect, minus the strong fragrance) and my skin was so smooth and even. However, they discontinued it. I tried the Ordinary Glycolic Toner, which was decent but not strong enough. Now finally, I am using Glytone nearly every night. It is a great product! My skin is smooth, bump free, and the PIH scars from the ingrowns are fading nicely. I started to see results within 1-2 weeks of consistent nightly use. Downside is that it is quite expensive for an 8oz product. Also, the lotion is stiff and doesn’t spread easily so you may feel the need to use more. I recommend using a couple of drops of Squalane Oil per pump to help it spread without using too much product. To finish on a positive note, the lotion is fragrance free, great for sensitive skin!

    Update (used two bottles worth about two years ago) and I want to add that not only did this help my kp it nearly made it all disappear (few tiny not noticed by others spots) it also hasn't come back at all what so ever (and I haven't applied this lotion again since my second bottle went empty a long long time ago. To reiterate it got rid of my kp issue for good.

    Amazing product, I had KP on my legs (from ankle to thigh, butt area would get problems too and upper arms) this lotion worked well and fast (a couple weeks and I'm cleared up no more ingrown hairs, red bumbs it's just totally smooth skin) baby soft really, I couple this lotion with Giovanni d:tox system and my skin has never felt or looked as good as it does now. It can sting a bit especially after shaving, I wait until I'm completely dry before applying this after shaving and it doesn't sting as bad, super thick a little goes a long way, makes you feel greasy afterwards until it soaks in but honestly so worth it if you've kp, besides I think the greasier you feel after applying a lotion the better it works unless it never soaks in then it's no good. Love this lotion now I can wear shorts comfortably and feel confident

    This is great to renew skin. Quite strong so be careful in creases of skin as can collate in them and leave you with sore red patches on the morning. I use it on whole body after a bath or shower as can help with dry crapey skin as well as acne and scaring. Also controls oil.

    First off, review of atlantic trading service is 5 stars. But my review for glytone is four star, the reason is while this is best product for KP on the market, it is not perfect. I have severe KP and it did not clear my skin completely especially in the problem area the back of my thighs, but it did in other areas such as back of arm, front thighs etc. I just wish this product is available in higher acid value thinking 25% for some of us that need it, it would have been perfect. I have tried amlactin with minimal result, so this is definitely superior and the smell ( there is no smell actually) when compared to amlactin is like night and day.
