I was hesitant to get this (it seemed slightly more expensive than I hoped) but glad I did. After all, you get what you pay for! It is sturdy and really well made. The wood is nice without defects. Although the width/opening is fixed, you can add extra pads to make the fit more snug. I have a 2016 and 2018 MacBook Pro and this dock fits perfectly. Beautiful desk piece to match my other accessories such as my Grovemade walnut pen holder and pen.

Firstly, this stand IS adjustable. I have seen several reviews saying that it isn’t, but the one I received is exactly as shown in the listing pictures. The stand is very well-made and of high quality. It comes with a little allen key for adjusting the width. I bought this specifically to use as a chopping board stand, for which it is perfect as it can accommodate the 30mm thick board, the walnut matches well, the padding on the inside is good quality so it holds the board firmly without the fear of scratching it, and the pads on the bottom grip our worktop extremely well.
