This historic hotel has so much charm. The rooms are smallish like older buildings are, but very comfortable. We travel with 2 small dogs and we like that some of the rooms have a private, enclosed patio. The restaurant in the building is top notch. Highly recommend.

Quaint hotel but staff is not very courteous to guests. Scolding of employees in front of guests which is very unprofessional. Seemed to have been very short staffed. Did not restock breakfast items and no longer have snacks available during the day. Employees like to sit on guest chairs and visit with each other instead of tending to guests. Key had to be reset every day. Lots of noise in hall late at night. Enjoyed our stay regardless. Rebekah and Katy went out of their ways to make things easy for us though.

We were completely satisfied with our stay at this hotel for our anniversary weekend. Hotel was beautiful, staff was very nice, food at the restraunt was outstanding. We didn't have one complaint. Our balcony was large and private. We were able to bring our little dogs with us. Housekeeping was very curteoys and gave us a water for our puppies.

This is a historic building and charming. The rooms are small but expected for an older hotel. For one night we hung around the charming courtyard and ate food at the restaurant. The drinks and food are excellent. Downside is the surrounding area. It is safe but feels poverty stricken.
