Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) treatment is a type of psychotherapy — or talk therapy — that utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach. It began with efforts to treat borderline personality disorder (also known as Emotional Instability Disorder). DBT has been conceptualized as a treatment broadly applicable to individuals with difficulties regulating emotions. Empirical evidence now supports the use of DBT adapted for eating disorders, substance use disorders, and PTSD.

I dislike the dairy entries. Using a slide scale that you have to touch, hold and drag where everything is so small it's covered by my finger I can't see what I'm inputting. I feel like it would be okay if there also an alternative way to put in numbers or even the "good, okay, bad"(other apps do both). I just feel like it should also be mentioned that it would be especially annoying to people who have difficulty with thier hands. Many people with chronic pain or disabilities need access to dbt

It would be an excellent app if I could use it. I paid for the full version and several times I have had to uninstall and reinstall because it keeps unlinking my purchase history and saying I should upgrade to premium, when I'm only a premium member. And then I can't use the features. It's very frustrating. Customer service hasn't been able to fix the issue so unfortunately I have to cancel because it's useless to me.

I'm a psychologist in training and on a whim decided to look at an app for some of my clients as we had begun using diary cards more regularly. As someone who has this as their primary orientation, this is an excellent app and I highly recommend it. There's enough you can do without needing to pay to use the app that I think it will be really helpful, and the reminders to use the diary cards are an excellent touch!
