Directions:

    I loooove this green! I’ve spent a long time trying to find a nice opaque green and this is the one. I did two layers to make sure it was a solid colour but one coat may suffice. It’s a super creamy consistency and with a top coat it absolutely does not budge!

      Meine Rezension bezieht sich auf die von mir gekaufte Farbe 823 "Willow In The Wind".

      Als ich das neue Grün von Essie gesehen habe mußte ich als eingefleischter Essie- und Grün-Fan natürlich sofort zuschlagen, und weil ich den ton online schon so schön fand, und bisher die Abbildungen auch immer den tatsächlichen Farben entsprochen haben, habe ich direkt 2 gekauft.

      In der Flasche sieht der Lack wunderschön aus, aber schon beim Öffnen der erste Schlag: beschrieben ist der Nagellack als "mit cremigem Finish" (worauf ich sehr gespannt war, da ich die Essie Lacke bisher immer als eher dünnflüssig erlebt habe); aber auf die Konsistenz war ich nicht vorbereitet. Wenn ich den Pinsel am Rand abstreife kann ich fast 1 cm lange Fäden ziehen.
      Der Auftrag ist der totale Albtraum; der Lack ist so zäh, daß er sich nicht ein bißchen glatt zieht sondern sofort dicke Riefen von den Pinselstrichen bildet. Um eine nur ansatzweise glatte Schicht hinzubekommen muß ich ungefähr die doppelte Menge Lack nehmen wie gewohnt, aber es bildet sich in jedem Fall eine sehr fleckiges, ungleichmäßige Schicht. Im ersten Moment trocknet der Lack sehr schnell an, man kann schon nach wenigen Sekunden nichts mehr korrigieren, ohne daß sich eine zweite, unregelmäige, zähe Schicht bildet. Es fühlt sich an, als würde man sich mit Schulbastelkleber die Nägel lackieren. Aber dann dauert das durchtrocknen übertrieben lange.
      Und der Knaller: Nach einigen Minuten bilden sich unzählige, winzige Bläschen (nein, die Fläschchen wurden nicht geschüttelt).
      Ist die erste Schicht endlich getrocknet macht die zweite Schicht alles nur noch schlimmer, und das Ergebnis sieht... nicht gut aus. Ich habe 12 Jahre alten Nagellack in der Schublade, der sich besser auftragen läßt als dieser.

      Und ja, ich bin keine gelernte Nageldesignerin, und habe auch noch nie in einem Studio gearbeitet, aber ich lackieren mir seit 30 Jahren die Nägel mit "normalem" und UV-Lack, und mache mehrfach im Monat die Nägel für Familie und Freunde.
      Mit keinem anderen Essie-Nagellack habe ich auch nur eines der geschilderten Probleme.

      Ich gebe trotzdem 2 Sterne, weil zum einen die Farbe selbst total schön ist, und zum anderen die anderen Käuferinnen mit den anderen Farben keine Probleme zu haben scheinen. Ich hoffe also, daß es an der Farbe bzw. der Charge liegt.
