My order shipped the next day and arrived 3 days early in good condition. The vacuum was brand new with no missing parts. My dad is very pleased (very powerful, a weak person would have trouble pushing against the suction on hard flooring). I'm a real person and this is not an incentivized review.

Great vacuum at a great price, delivered quickly

Easy to assemble.  Really good at picking up the cat hair.  Easy to empty. 
 I might have other good things to say but I've only used it once.  Holds more than my old one.

For the price of $276, $307 after taxes.  It's worth the price. You can feel the power.  I wish it had a front light.  Never realized how helpful those were on a vacuum, until I needed one.  I would buy it again for this price.

Worth the price.

I have been using this dyson vacuum for about 2 weeks now. The suction is just as good as my previous dyson when it was new. My last dyson lasted 8-ish years. So far, my only complaint with my new dyson is that there is a high pitched whistle when it is in use. I do enjoy that this dyson is lighter than my last one. I use this dyson on tile flooring and on low pile carpets, with no issues.

Great vacuum

Powerful suction. May be difficult to maneuver on carpet or rugs that are not short nap. This vacuum is a bit heavy at 17 lbs.   My previous Dyson weighed in a 7 lbs so the extra weight is an adjustment.

If your pets are furry, it may be ok. For those with feathered friends it sucks , or doesn't, for picking up large pellets and corn kernels. It just pushes them around.

The hose broke on my expensive German vacuum that I'd had for about 8 years, and the replacement hose was almost as much as a new vacuum, so I decided to get a new one. I did my research, and Dyson seemed to have the best suction, which is what I needed for my tile floors. I tried it out today for the first time. I'm disappointed. Yes, it has good suction, but it's very clunky and cheaply made. I'm not sure how long it's going to last. The way the hose is designed (coming straight up from the handle) is awkward to use. Also, I was hoping for it to run smoothly, but it didn't even on smooth flooring. I was hoping for more based on the reputation of Dyson. Lastly, the box was delivered all beat up by UPS. Fortunately, the vacuum was not damaged.
