Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches. We visited over Easter and Liz left us little Easter Eggs in the room. There was wine in the mini fridge and some crisps to snack on...as well as coffee, tea, milk etc. The garden is secure and our two dogs loved it. It was just a short walk from town.
We would love to stay again.
Highly recommend.
The weather on our second day was wet.
Superb views of the coastline and each 100 yards away.
Several eateries within walking distance
Coastal walks aound in both direction from the hotel
Downside is the roads to get there

Highly recommended.
Highly recommended. The accommodation was comfortable the food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A very small criticism would be that my wife waited 20 minutes for a single slice of toast at breakfast. I did mention it to a member of staff.
Hope this solves the problem for future guests.

Great place to enjoy a relatively quiet seaside holiday.
Great place to enjoy a relatively quiet seaside holiday. Good local food. Afternoon tea at the Cottage Hotel overlooking the sea is not to be missed. Hope Cove is small enough to allow you to walk everywhere. The road to Hope Cove from the main road is very narrow but there are passing places.

A great coastal location in the South Hams with some glorious scenery and coastal walking around, either from the front door or a short drive away.
Although very much a holiday destination with, in truth, rather too many holiday lets/rentals, the village does benefit from three eateries, two of them as part of pubs, one being fairly smart and traditional (Hope&Anchor), and the other more of a hip/'craft' bar that serves excellent pizzas (The Cove). There is no convenience store in the village.
P.S. The narrow lanes are NOT for the faint-heated or those who do not know the width of their car !!!

A lovely unspoilt location, with lovely walks , unfortunately due to COVID there were little places to eat but the pub we found The Cove was brilliant with very friendly staff and felt very safe as Covid priorities in place . Hope cove is an excellent base , with easy access to Dartmouth, salcombe And kingsbridge . Overall we had a wonderful couple of days.

Hope Cove is a gem of a location.
Hope Cove is a gem of a location. Sadly the main pub by the beach is closed until March 2021 due to a flood. There are other eateries and small gift shops open. Great base for South Hams and fantastic for beaches and coastal walks.
one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in , in this country, I stay at hotels all over uk regularly, beautiful location, lovely rooms, great staff, fantastic food , rooms all have that extra touch, plug sockets everywhere ha ha, massif tv , WiFi , I’d ok for the area, continental breakfast was best I have ever had at a hotel in this country. can’t big this place up enough. and I slept like a baby.
Disappointed when I saw the advert it stated balcony and sea views, when I clicked book no balcony and harbour views. Room was very very small. Breakfast was good. Staff polite and helpful. Hotel is very dated and a little tired in places but it is all about the location
Bed was comfy & shower was powerful! Those are the 2 most important elements to us!
Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful & served by attentive staff.
The views from this hotel are like nothing you've seen before! We loved the terrace and the grounds!
The hotel was perfect. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, and helped us celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary with generosity.
The room was really comfortable and amenities great.
The food was delicious, great gastro pub food.
The hotel was refurbished last year and has been done to a very high standard. The staff were really freindly, welcoming and helpful. The loacation is absolutely superb, right on the back front in one of the most beautiful Devon coves.
Was a lovely hotel, we had our evening meal here and breakfast both were delicious, would definately recommend to family and friends. Only shame was the wild January weather (obviously out of the hotels control!!!)
The location and view from the room and hotel were stunning. Breakfast was wonderful , again with a sea view. Spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
