Q: Why are all of the 5 star reviews from people that got this product for free if they would review it? Seems they are skewed ratings. Did anyone actually buy this and like it?

A: Yes, I bought it. It is great overall and has minor issues from time to time. Wouldn’t reccomend heavy use though.

Some stains I didn't notice until I dedicated an entire day to cleaning my carpet throughout my house, so not sure how long they were there. Every stain I had came out and never came back. I recommend 100%.

I have two little (wild) boys and a new puppy and STAINS galore. Q: What is the water temperature? Heatwave Technology is not an answer and sounds like marketing/PR propaganda. Define HWT and answer the water temperature question!

A: in other words, it does NOT heat the water only blows some engine warm are over whatever temperature water you put in the tank

submitted byVic - 2 years agoA: As you noted, this cleaner uses our HeatWave Technology and does not have a water heater in it. HeatWave Technology helps to maintain the temperature of the water placed in the clean tank. We recommend using hot but not boiling or microwaved tap water in the machine.

Q: Can you use this machine to clean mattresses?

A: I've done it before, make sure you use the express setting so you add less water to the mattress. Be sure to extract as much excess liquid as possible. Once finished allow the mattress to dry for at least 12 hours (leaving moisture can cause mold to form, thus ruining your mattress). I recommend using a box fan on it, to speed up the process of drying

A: Hi Cathy. Model 1986 is the original and the 3599F is a newer version. The newer model is 6.3 Amps versus 6.8 and it has a new nozzle part. Hope this helps!

First the cons/caveats: If you buy this thing, get an extended warranty on it. I have owned three so far over the last 5 years. This last one has been almost 2 years without any issues. The thing I have encountered include that the solution pump dies(happened twice!) and the the clean water tank leaks near the release valve(happened once). So definitely not good relaiability for the price. Pros: Cleans great Attachments are handy Way more portable than most carpet deep cleaners Tanks are easy to fill and to empty. Only issue is the dirty water tank needs to be cleaned out with clean water after each waste dump to keep stuff, like carpet fibers that get stuck, from building up in it. You literally have to shake it. I go a bathroom with a toilet and tub to make disposing of the nasty water easier along with flushing it out. Still better than cleaning the big cleaners. Shark now has a competing alternative I might try if this one dies again. We'll see.

Wow this thing really cleaned my couches, they look new! I like that it stands upright when you use the hose attachment-it’s really long which saves my back. I have the little green machine & it is WAY more powerful suction wise.

It breaks too fast. I spent 330$ plus on this around two years ago and have only used it rarely. The belts break, stops spinning, and the power button gets stuck. Now the water won't come out. I've taken it apart and tried replacing stuff. Just want a new one sad I spent so much. When it does work it is great though.
I would definitely recommend and would buy again

Our floors tend to stay clean, so we thought. We decided to give it a try. All the dirt and dust that penetrates in the carpet that's is not noticeable to the eye, the vacuum this a wonderful thing. I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

I loved this vacuum! I have two rugs in my house that I had used it on about a dozen times and it was so effective in getting up all the crud that I couldn't even see! It was especially helpful after pet accidents but even routine cleaning, I loved it! However after about 6 uses, it stopped working and it won't suction. Tried all the problem solving steps and it still won't work. Not with the money for the minimal uses.
