I am 5'4 and usually wear a size 16. I got these in a 16 short and am very pleased. They are the perfect length and fit comfortably. I have wider hips than my waist, so I always have to wear a belt with other jeans. These are cinched in slightly ad the waist so I dont have to wear a belt! I will buy again in more colors.

    It was time to replace my 2 year old Thistle Lake 414 and Indigo Anomaly 314 Levis, so I re-ordered from my Amazon history (the 314s are no longer available). I selected the Blue Mixtape and Oak Blues (I guess they've done away with the style numbering for plus sizes?) both in 42(22)R. I normally wear size 20, but this was the size of my old ones. They must have changed something because the new pants (both) were rather large in the waist.

    Luckily, I was able to exchange for the smaller 40(20)R size, and I am very pleased with how the Blue Mixtape jeans fit. 5 Stars! They aren't made with the super stretchy denim, which gives them a more durable, traditional Levi's feel. They also run a little long below the ankle, which works great with boots.

    As for the Oak Blues, the length is pretty much just under the ankle. They only get 4 Stars. The fabric is very stretchy. They fit well at first, but as the day goes on, they get more and more loose-especially around the waist. I'm constantly having to pull them up & imagine I look a lot like Chris Farley doing so!

    I'm not sure if Amazon will allow separate reviews for these pants, since they were selected from the same overall product page, so I decided to put them both here.
