Compared to a crank spiralizer, the Oxo is a bit slow and tiring, but it works great for some vegs (especially softer vegs of odd shapes or sizes) where a crank spiralizer like the Mueller just won't work. So if you're into spiralizing things, it is good to have both types of spiralizer in your kitchen tool-kit.
For an entry-level spiralizer (with the Mueller being the next step up), I give it high marks. It is inexpensive, compact, sturdy, and it is quick and easy to clean. And if you ever get a crank spiralizer, you will still want to keep it. It will still be the best tool for the job in some cases.
Even with hand issues, I can use this (If I were frequently spiralizing more than one veggie at a time, I'd maybe consider the countertop version instead). I like that this has the three blades as it seems like different veggies do work a bit better when using the larger blade and others work better with the smaller blade, the ribbon option is just a bonus. Don't bother using the top gripping piece until your veggie is down low enough that it no longer feels safe to twist without it, it works much better that way. It also works best if cut the veggie pieces is a nice straight flat line. I tried to spiralize some bent pieces -- it kind of worked, but the noodles were breaking too easily.
It's relatively easy to clean but I would recommend using a bottle brush, especially one that has a smaller attachment (the kind usually designed for cleaning nipples on baby bottles) as it's hard to get a regular brush in some of the little nooks and crannies.
Construction feels pretty solid. No disassembly for cleaning like my last spiralizer.
It's easier to clean.
It is very laborious to use. The cutting area is flat instead of conical. If there is any curve in your zucchini, you're going to have a bad time. Cutting itself is almost effortless, but the number of turns needed is three or four times that of my last spiralizer. The zucchini falls/slips easily.
The rather large hole in the middle wastes more of the zucchini than my last spiralizer. This is acceptable with larger zucchini, but frustrating with smaller zucchini.
This device does work, but you would be better looking elsewhere for a spiralizer with a conical cutting surface.
