The Met Gala will always be the main event, but fashion's biggest night cannot end until the after parties get started. As soon as the main red carpet ended, the Met Gala 2024 after-party looks started to roll in and, once again, sheer dominated the night scene.
This year, the Met Gala theme celebrated “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and the official dress code was “The Garden of Time.” We saw some of our favorites step out on the Met Gala 2024 red carpet looking incredibly on theme.
We had Lana Del Rey, who wore custom Alexander McQueen, really leaning into the theme. Others chose beautiful gowns, less in tow with the garden theme. But once the carpet is done and the rules no longer matter, our favorite looks of the night arrive.
