Not too long ago I just finished re-listening to the podcast and I see why I love this podcast. David is truly an amazing writer and speaker and quite humorous. He balances all the speakers in a great way where everyone is heard. Truly keep up the amazing work.

Awesome show! I especially love whenever they talk about sci-fi from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. You all are fantastic.
Occasionally interesting, mostly insufferable

If you are a science fiction fan, when you glance over the content for Geek’s Guide, it looks really promising. But then you listen to it…. The host, whose droning voice sounds like it’s AI generated, and guests generally proceed to ridicule anything that wasn’t written or filmed in the 21st century & are condescending. It’s a real turn off if you’re over the age of say…. 25, even though these folks are well past that age. You’re not impressing anyone, guys. Did I mention the Host’s voice is robotic & annoying? Avoid.
Great podcast!

Great execution, coupled with a wide variety of guests and topics, make this a wonderful podcast. Not every topic hits home for me, but that’s to be expected. Thank you all for a great contribution!
Going strong and still full of surprises

The most recent episode reminded me why I get excited to hear the interviews on GGTTG. I could probably have found out a lot of it after some searching and reading a lot, but I didn't know there was so much reason to go do those rabbit holes.
A thoughtful and rigorous contribution to benevolent fandom

For years I’ve turned to Geek’s Guide for open-ended discussions on my favorite content. Dave’s warm yet analytical tone is well-suited to the variety of formats this show offers. The lovable cast of returning panelists punctuate the interview roster with just the kind of quirky party that I enjoy with my own friends. I recently became a supporter after realizing that Patreon’s per-episode floating contribution offers a simple mechanism for encouraging more Geek’s Guide.
Snobs

Arrogant people who are have “high borne” taste. I gave this show a long, long leash. Can’t do it anymore. EVERYTHING they review is a failure. It’s not worth your time or anymore of mine.
Deep Discussions & Insightful Interviews
04/11/2022
David Barr Kirtley and his guests take us on a deep dive into topics related to Science Fiction and Fantasy (SF&F). The format varies between interviews where David talks to a creator such as an author or other luminary of the field, and discussion groups where David and a panel of people discuss a topic or subject area. The topics vary from books, to movies, and TV series. If it has to do with SF&F, it’s discussed here. David is certainly one of the best prepared podcasters in the business, always ready with an fairly complete understating of the topic or of the work of the interviewee. Geek’s Guide is a treasure for the field of SF&F and has a extensive back-catalog well worth exploring!
Nerding Out Again!

I found Geeks Guide about 6 months ago. I’ve been a secret in the closet nerd my entire life but have really let it fly over the last few years! And The Geeks Guide is now home! David, the panelists, the book and movie recommendations are amazingly in line with everything I like. Keep ‘em coming. Ive listened to about 60% of the episodes so far and never want to reach 100% I’m also a small Patreon subscriber now to the show. Love you all and keep crushing it geek-style!
Foundation Review

You mentioned iRobot as the predecessor book for this series but you missed several other books that lead up to this. iRobot had nothing to do with this except for the Three Laws.
