The watering can I received might have been an older model as the rosette is removable. I see that some of the newer ones are not. The can has been outside in the sun since June (it is now December and I'm still using it for my winter garden -- we live where temperatures rarely get below freezing). and it has held up perfectly with no leaks, no problems with taking off or replacing the rosette (although I did find out that spiders seem to like to living in the spout near the rosette which was a bit of a shock). It is rather heavy and feels very durable. I was actually looking for the larger 3-gallon version, but I'm glad I didn't find it because this one is about all I can handle these days. I really like the rustic look, too. I find this to be a very practical purchase as it is much tougher than several smaller, flimsier galvanized metal cans I purchased before I found this one. I would definitely buy this again.
The can is large and works as well as any Hawes can that I’ve used. It cost so much less for something you’re going to leave outside.
It works great for watering larger areas. The galvanizing is a little rough. I like that. Zero rust though the summer. I’ll move it is inside for winter
Now for the bad. The “bucket” handle on top is cheap, thin, flimsy, uncomfortable, and will Crack & fail. I already have a replacement lined up when this one falls apart. Fix that as it’s awful. Only reason I gave it a 4
Country of origin is misleading. If it’s made in Mexico, fine, say it and move on. Sticker is miserable to remove. Days of soaking in solvent to remove it. Fix that to.
It’s watering can. It does a good job

Soooo, just as at least one other customer has previously noted; my new awesome $50.00 watering can, indeed came with the "free" leak option. It was not, on the factory window sticker. Specifically, right on the top of the spout, where it meets with the attached diffuser. I noticed it, when the water/fish emulsion mixture I was using, began to cascade betwixt me toes, in the Crock brand flip-flops I was wearing. Hark, and egad. I had a tube of clear silicone left over from a recent-past project. I applied and smoothed out a ring of silicone around the joint, let 'er dry, and said villainous leak is no more. I'm also considering drilling a few of the water exit holes in the diffuser a little larger, as the water comes out very s-l-o-w-l-y. Zzzzzzz,,,,
If I decide to add mag wheels, a "lift kit", racing stripes or custom bumpers, I'll attach some pics!
"Water on" dudes and dudette's,
G.

So happy to not be putting more plastic in the landfill from terrible plastic watering cans. Heads up: it's not a fast pouring spout, and you can't remove the spout, so if you want to dump a lot of water on your plants quickly, you have to dump the water out from the top opening. If you want that much water that quickly, may I recommend a bucket instead...
