A: Hi， Thanks for your question. It doesn't need to be attached to a water line. The dock will refill the undetachable water tank of the robot with water. You need to fill the clean water tank of the dock with clean water.

A: In carpet cleaning setting on roborock app,If you select avoid, the robot will avoid carpet. If you select ignore, the robot will mop the carpet. If you select dynamic lift, the robot will vacuum.

I regret this purchase within three months of owning this device it stopped working. Spinning in circles then giving error codes that didn't make sense. I contacted customer service. After jumping thru hoops ( they said try this, send Pic, send video, do this etc) I grew frustrated and said no, I'm not taking more time out of my life it's defective. It's under warranty. Fix it, replace it or give my money back. They sent a package to send it back to them. They fixed it. Then, about 4 months after that, it wasn't emptying the dust bin. Come to find out it was clogged w pet hair. So absolutely avoid this if you have pets. Then about 3 months after that it stopped mopping. I've had it for a year and 2 months and I hate it. At this price point there shouldn't be this much disfunction.

Cleans well as long as everything is in place. If we change the location of the base, the robo doesnt identify the base. It still goes to the original location. So we should not move the base anywhere which seems irritating. Getting the error as Wall sensor is dirty and couldnt resolve that error inspite of multiple cleanings and restart. I hav ereached out to customer care, will update my review once I get the reponse from them

The mop flat out doesn’t work. No clean water pulls out to the mop. Turns out it’s a common problem. The company has some troubleshooting tips, but none of them worked. So I basically have a super expensive vacuum with a nonfunctional mop.

I would have given the Roborock S7 Max Ultra a 5, but I am not fond of the app. I find it difficult to use, navigate and just not very user friendly. Sorry, the vacuum and dock are awesome and do a great job, but the app is difficult to use.

Does a great job with the sweeping and mopping love all the customization options and the mapping along with the fact you can see it in real time on the app. It is self cleaning and self emptying and much better object avoidance than any other robot vacuum I’ve had in the past.

We got this for our church, and currently it is cleaning about 7000 sq. ft a week!! I have been blown away at it, thoroughness and efficiency! We have it running at night, so it never interferes with anything during the day. It vacuums in and out of chairs perfectly, it mops, amazingly, and our church board has been blown away! We were hesitant at first to plunk down this kind of money, but it is absolutely worth it!

I want to start off my saying I’ve been waiting a year to get the guts to pull the trigger on this premium robot vacuum. I’ve watched hours of Vacuum Wars on YouTube and finally decided to get this at target because it was under 1 grand. I loved it, for the first 3 weeks. Then it ran over cat poop and well water and poop does not make a good combination. All I want in a vacuum is object avoidance and it failed to do that. In terms of vacuuming, our basic Roomba from 4 years ago does a better job, ON HARD FLOOR! Not even carpet, which obviously isn’t even a question. I love that it mops, for hard wood and 3 cats yes it is a game changer. But if it can’t avoid simple objects like cords/cables and poop then I’m not interested. FYI I ordered the S8 after returning this, but I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed again and I don’t want to think the best of the best is not good enough.

These units are Fantastic. I have both the s7 and the s8. I have 2 large breed dog and the hair that goes with them. Clean floors are no longer a concern.

This is my second Roborock. I have had mine for over a year and this year I bought one for my dad. He’s getting up in age and this was perfect. The bacon and mop feature is great. The only surprise I got was that I have a Roborock S7 Max V Ultra and I thought I was buying the same thing with the S7 Max Ultra (I didn’t notice that the names were actually different because they looked identical), but the S7 Max Ultra doesn’t have the camera feature. This actually works come in handy because I planned to look at the floor in his den to see how much the birds have thrown around the seed, before running it in that room a few times a day. Other than that, it’s just wonderful

The vacuum function is pretty not. I have another robot vacuum that does a better job, but that one is not a combo (vacuum +mop). I am dissappointed in the mopping function; it doesn't do that good of a job and requires much manual clean up afterwards to get all the spots it was missed.

Easy to set up and get running. The only criticism I have is how the directions refer to a seperate set of documents containing pictures, so if you lose that, it's pretty tough to follow.

Only been using for a few weeks, but I am impressed with the thoroughness with which the S7 Max Ultra maps and cleans and mops my floor. With 3 dogs, the ability to mop everyday is amazing! Saves me time and makes it easier to prepare for company or do things I'd rather be doing more than cleaning 😊.
