I’m very picky when it comes to anything on my hair ! This stuff works amazing! My hair feels so soft and the smell is wonderful! This stuff tames my frizz and helps my curly hair stand out! Plus my hair doesn’t really shed with this . Worked way better than my $32 a bottle of shampoo.

I’ve been on the hunt for a shampoo and conditioner that have clean ingredients and actually work like they’re supposed to. It took my hair I’d say 2 washings to fully adjust to this shampoo. I’m really glad I stuck with it, because my hair now feels AMAZING and so soft! It really does help control frizz like it claims on the packaging which is great. The biggest selling point for me was that it’s EWG verified. “EWG VERIFIED® mark means that the product meets EWG’s strictest standards for health and safety. It avoids any of the ingredients on EWG’s “Unacceptable List” and provides full transparency of ingredients, including fragrance.”

This is absolutely NOT "the same formula" as the old stuff - aside from the water, aloe, and hemp, almost EVERY ingredient is different! Not to mention, it doesn't even work as good as the old stuff - my partner's very thick, frizzy hair is tangling and frizzing more with this new stuff than it ever did with the old. Bad move, HE.

In the meantime, as you may know, tangled hair is very common and can become worse if brushed or combed while wet. Also, hair can be frizzy if it's not conditioned well enough. There's a chance that this product isn't the best for your partner's hair and they may need to try a richer formulation. To help detangle hair, apply a rich conditioner to the dry, tangled hairs. After letting sit for a couple minutes, use a fine-toothed comb to detangle. Please start at the ends and then inch your way up to the roots. We want to assist both of you further. This stuff smells amazing, it feels amazing but it’s causing a ridiculous amount of hair loss for me since using it and it’s become problematic. I unfortunately have to switch and throw the remainder out which is almost a whole bottle as I’ve only used it twice.

Something that actually works! Bought on a whim when I was giving up hope on what helps tame frizz and strengthen my brittle postpartum hair and it smells so good. I figured hemp lotion works on my hands, let’s see what it can to for hair. My husband tried it and bought his own set the next day. This will now be my forever go to.

I have eczema that rears its ugly head every fall until spring. The last few years I’ve been experiencing scalp eczema as well and have been going through a crazy amount of shampoo brands trying to find anything to stop the itching and burning. I saw this product at the grocery store and decided to give it a whirl since the ingredients were mostly clean. I’ve never paid attention to hemp shampoos in the past because I figured it’s just one of the latest fads that’s overhyped. With eczema I have to be very careful of the products I use. The only thing that could make this product better would be to just eliminate the fragrance which can be a dehydrator. I just washed my hair and oh my heaven! The itching is almost gone. The burning is non existent and there’s a cooling sensation on my scalp that feels amazing. I only wish I tried this line a while ago.

It smells nice and it did make my hair very soft, but my hair fell out in big handfuls every time I washed it. Thought it was maybe hormonal hair loss... Switched shampoo/conditioners. Instantly stopped losing hair.

I have been having SCALP ISSUES for about 3 years (constant scalp itching and irritation). I was looking for Sulfate-Free shampoo and conditioner, and I was hopeful that Herbal Essences Hemp and Aloe was the solution. Unfortunately, it was not--my SCALP continued to itch, so I had to return it to Target.

We are sorry to read you did not experience relief after using our Herbal Essences Bio: Renew Hemp and Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner. We understand how frustrating somethin like this can be. If you were not aware already dandruff and itching is caused by a microbe on the scalp. Everyone has this microbe but about half of us have a sensitivity to it, which causes irritation, flaking and redness. Our Hemp and Potent Aloe Shampoo and Conditioner is not specifically designed to help with itchy scalps.

I have thick wavy hair that is frizzy & poofy.. this is the first product I've found that actually gets rid of frizz! No frizz, super smooth and shiny...looks like I just left the salon but all I did was wash it and let it air dry!

I've had a massive breakout of psoriasis in my scalp for almost a year. Nothing else was working, even prescription creams/ointments (which make your hair gross). I decided to give this a shot and within a couple months my psoriasis breakout is almost completely gone. I haven't had this clear it a scalp since this started nearly 20 years ago!!! I also haven't had to switch off this product like I ALWAYS have to do after 3 to 6 weeks. Only complaint is it does NOT help my frizz at all lol. The clearing of the psoriasis and fact I don't have to keep rotating shampoos was is worth 5* to me though.

Hands down one of the best shampoos I’ve used. The smell is amazing, smells slightly like coconut, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling light and clean, and I usually struggle with extremely greasy hair and I was able to shower at night and wake up the next day with my hair still looking fresh and clean. My hair looks shiny, feels very soft, and no frizz in sight. This shampoo is also color friendly so the red in my hair is thanking me. Highly recommend! If you were thinking about it, don’t hesitate.
